If you ever have the strange desire to watch a couple of liberals devolve into an intellectual wasteland of platitudes and hypocrisy, just mention Hobby Lobby. During a recent TV special with Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Peoples Republic of Massachusetts), Paul Krugman waded into the realm of idiocy (it was a short trip for him) while discussing corporate personhood, and the GOPs desire to push us back to 1894.
Of course, this raises a few questions: If corporations arent people, then why should we expect businesses to exercise economic patriotism in their tax dealings? I mean heck, I guess we shouldnt care if a company is inclusive, or socially conscious
After all, unlike people, corporations apparently dont have the right to make moral or ethical decisions in how they conduct business, right Krugman? I guess Bernie Madoff should be let out of jail after all, it was his company that stole millions, right?

The man is a very bad joke.
Further proof that the word “Nobel”, when associated with anything other than the STEM subjects, is a complete joke.
Krugman wants us to return 1929.
Another dog whistle to Democrat voters.
We want to end women’s sufferage, reinstate Jim Crow, and send twelve-year olds back out to sort coal 14 hours a day.
I prefer 1863. Women knew their place, coloreds were more respectful, and the Confederate States of America still stood a chance of winning.
Oh, and it was still legal to beat a Nancy-boy like Paul Krugman to within an inch of his life.
If corporations aren’t people, you can’t tax them. Gosh, liberals hate that when you bring it up while they’re spouting off about the Citizens United decision.
Heck, won’t find any argument from me; end all corporate taxes and all corporate and union donations.
‘course, liberals just want what THEY want, not what, you know, is lawful.
Damn Skippy we do!
If a corporation formed by people called corporate stockholders should not be considered a person, why should a union formed by people called union members be considered a person?
He sits on the Iron Throne of Idiocy.
Actually, we want to pull the country back to 1984. High growth, low unemployment, low taxes, strong defense and optimism about our future.
How about we ‘pull back’ to 1791?
The overwhelming majority of stuff that the US government does is a complete violation of the Constitution.
Big Brother Barry wants to keep us in 1984.
1894, when the main objective of the Democrats in Congress was protecting Southern state Jim Crow laws and trying to create a national set of Jim Crow laws for the federal government. Which they finally were able to do under President Wilson.
Krugman, doing the work that DWS isn’t quite up to.
I’d settle for 1906...
Krugman -1984 by Orwell
Keep the Marxists in charge another 10 years and we will look more like 1464.
Pray America wakes up
And the left wants to pull us to Orwell’s 1984.
1894 was a damn good year. We were coming out of the Panic of 93, thanks to J. P. Morgan; a GREAT constitutional president, Grover Cleveland (the last good Democrat) was in power; and the US was building the second largest navy in the world.
