WASHINGTON (AP) -- Abandoning his pledge to act by the end of summer, President Barack Obama has decided to delay any executive action on immigration until after the November congressional elections, White House officials said.

The move instantly infuriated immigration advocates while offering relief to some vulnerable Democrats in tough Senate re-election contests.

Two White House officials said Obama concluded that circumventing Congress through executive actions on immigration during the campaign would politicize the issue and hurt future efforts to pass a broad overhaul.

Wonder why? Well for two: A more reddish/conservative Senate could over ride his limp wristed vetos AND a more conservative Senate might very well be persuaded to hold an impeachment trial. After impeachment he’s not immune from a treason trial. The Grand Kenyan has lots of reasons to be looking over his shoulder-—you only get to screw over about so many people before you start running into the ones with no sense of humor.

The Democrat Senators are going to try to pass an amnesty bill regardless of the elections. The leadership simply does not care what the mid-term election results may be.

The session after November is "Lame Ducks". Their fate will be decided. They do not need to care about elections ever again. But a successful Immigration Amnesty will mean 30 million new Democrat voters, and the Democrats will own the Government for the rest of their lives.

The Democrat Senators will amend a House bill that contains "must-pass" funding provisions. The amendments will include all the Immigration amnesty provisions they want. The reconciliation procedure will include a "Deem-and-Pass" provision so the amended bill never actually goes back to the House for ratification.

They will take this all the way to December 31 - and blame the Republicans for threatening to shut down essential Government services, if the Republicans try any serious opposition.

No doubt there will be some very public failures of the EBT system or Social Security payments in late November, just to make the point.

My Democrat Congressman already outlined this stragtegy to what he presumed was a crowd of supporters during his August town hall meetings.

I called my Congressmen to ask what they could do to protect we citizens from the abuses of this president - no response.
