Well, I think you meant principle, as in the principal leader of this nation is true man of principles, putting his party (”The Party”) first in all affairs.

Thanks. I actually do know the difference between “principal” and “principle”. About a hundred years ago I learned the mnemonic device that a principal is your pal. Although I know longer actively use it, it is embedded and usually serves well. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.
