Thanks. I actually do know the difference between “principal” and “principle”. About a hundred years ago I learned the mnemonic device that a principal is your pal. Although I know longer actively use it, it is embedded and usually serves well. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.

That’s how I remember how to spend separate. A nun told us-”There’s a rat in “separate”.” Silly,but I’ve never forgotten it.
