I can’t believe South Carolina voted for this lunatic.
To: nickcarraway
I voted for him for Governor back in the day, but that’s before he went “hiking on the Appalachian Trail” and we found out more about him. I can’t believe they sent him back to the House, though.

“Lunatic” is a personal attack by someone that has no fact to support that assertion. It appears that WSPA has no source for these allegations other than the ex-Mrs. Sanford or her people. Could “lunatic” be a description of her actions?

When SC sent Sanford back to the House, it was a hint that Loveable Lindsey is still wanted for the Senate too.

I think all politicians should take a psych exam.

Thanks for the ping Albion. Sounds like Rep. Sandford has gone off the deep end. I wonder if we can get Ms Sandford's mental exam to cover all elected officials at the Federal level?

Thanks for the ping wow I thought this guy would have learned his lesson.

I’m no fan of Sanford, but disgruntled spouses in bitter custody battles aren’t the best sources for unbiased information.

I thought he handled a bad situation much better than most pols do. Can’t help but wonder if the ex is sour grapes.

Well to be fair to Mr Sanford (welcome to FR Congressman!) these allegations do seem to all stem from his ex. And from what I hear, such proceedings can get quite nasty.

You’re welcome for the ping.
I am so glad this philanderer is not my Rep.

Why hasn’t he married his “soulmate” by now? It’s been four years since the divorce.
