An Islamist-allied militia group says it has 'secured' a U.S. Embassy compound in Libya's capital, more than a month after American personnel evacuated from the country over ongoing fighting.
An Associated Press journalist walked through the compound Sunday after the Dawn of Libya, an umbrella group for Islamist militias, invited onlookers inside.
Windows at the compound had been broken, but it appeared most of the equipment there remained untouched. A commander for the Dawn of Libya group said his forces had entered and been in control of the compound since last week.

The US should have been strongly backing and unequivocally supporting General Khalifa Haftar in Libya , all along . He has long been our hand-picked CIA trained and supported man , lived in the US for years , and completely on his own , took it upon himself to go back , after the fall of Qaddafi to try and get involved and affect things . yet since Haftar was picked and supported by Administrations other than his own , Obama and crew have chosen to treat him like someone they do not know and have offered less than zero support . If Haftar can not beat the islamist militias Libya will become the next huge problem for us . Bottom line : America needs to get rid of Obama and his entire inept ineffective cowardly team of fools . America cannot afford to wait for usual electoral processes to take place up until 2016 . he needs to be impeached , resign , or be removed by our military . Take your pick . The entire world will be in utter shambles , for all American interests , if we sit on our hands and wait . Libya is the perfect example . Worse by the day .
We do not need a military coup. We are not some Central American hell hole.

you do realize that at this point our entire electoral process is a stage managed process by a select few ( and the media) who can steer all results to their desired outcomes .
The American people have already lost their power to determine who leads this country , under the current set of rules and circumstances . We have become mere props . Coupled with vast numbers of people who are far too stupid to know whom or what to vote for .
While the world edges to a new world war . Can we really afford to await this gamed process ?
