Indeed, since 9/11, the U.S. has never been out of the crosshairs of Islamist terrorists. At least 60 of their plots against the U.S. homeland have been thwarted over the last 13 years.

ISIS also has three decades of transnational terrorism operations and expertise to draw on. The U.S. government has known for quite some time that Vegas—a symbol of Western decadence—is a prime target, and they’ve taken that threat quite seriously. The city has received anti-terrorism grants for years from the Department of Homeland Security. The department also set up an Information Sharing and Analysis Center in part to address the vulnerabilities and threats to the entertainment, lodging, and shopping activities that dominate the Vegas economy.

Agreed. Vegas spreads its filth locally, whereas LA spreads its filth globally.
Also, there are more Americans in LA and SF than in Vegas. At any given time, I’d surmise that 20% of the people in Vegas are foreign tourists.
Vegas loves guns, whereas LA and SF hate them.

I halfway agree with you. But on 9-11-01, they executed a plan that was dependent on coordinated attacks at different locatons, designed to bring down the economy. Rather creative, far more advanced than John Mohammad, Fort Hood or the Boston marathon attacks. I expect no less the next time. It took 19 of them in ‘01. How many AQ agents are now hiding in the country, thanks to Obama’s open borders policy? Maybe with green cards, maybe frankly as illagal
aliens? There are lots of soft targets in the US, and taking out 50, or 100 or 500 key structures could bring the economy to its knees. Think they have not figured that out? I don’t. I just think they will wait until B0 is out of office to attack. The AQ/ISL types would not want to embarrass a fellow Mohammadan.
The price of liberty is eternal vigilance. There is a good chance our survival depends on a vigilant citizenry, in the heartland and elsewhere.

Well ... People will say not to give them any ideas. But simply transmogrify what they have done in Europe and Israel for maximized terror.
There are currently no defenses for these tactics. They would need 4 to 8 Jihadi’s. All weapons could be acquired locally.
1. Spray McCarren’s taxi line with gun fire. Barge into terminal. Coordinate with simultaneous attack on airline departure zone.
2. Force entry to a major resort hotel. Go to one upper floor. Seal off exits go door to door and wake the guests. Segregate Jews and armed service veterans. Release Muslims. Settle in for a siege and a long media orgasm.
3. Randomly timed pipe bombs on casino floors. Make the operators set up security theater to enter every building.
4. Car bombs on the strip. Right in front of the Venetian? Or under an entrance portico? Maybe there’s a US educated jihadi with a masters in civil engineering that can pick the right target. Maybe they can use a large shaped charge and bring military grade explosives in through our now porous border (thanks Obama!) and take the Peninsula down.
5. Dining in tonight? Just detonate one bomb once a week at a strip eatery. Tell the infidels that’s what you are going to do. Give them fear and terror so that they stop dining. The economic effects would be amazing to watch.
6. Be-little Ceasar’s. How about a Mumbai style assault on the mall at Ceasar’s. When it’s shows are on and it’s dark inside. Talk about terror and panic. A multi pronged coordinated attack with 5 pairs of Jihadis from five outside entrances? The cries for gun control would be deafening. I would also arrange to purchase my weapons at a gun show for cash and post a post attack video of same to YouTube for maximum damage.
7. Turn off the Faucet NOW! Start chunking some radioactive materials into the water system. Tell the media. Give hints. Then execute 1,2,3, 4,5,6 above while the local constabulary is out dealing with that.
That’s some off the cuff ideas.

they cant drive, have no idea where they are, but they all find their way to the Mustang Ranch somehow...
