President Obama is weighing a big-time executive action on immigration that has both Democrats and Republicans anxious. He's also pursuing a major international climate-change agreement without ratification by Congress. And it's not yet clear whether the White House will seek congressional authorization for military action in Syria that appears increasingly likely.
Yes, we are finally entering into what could be a very big debate about executive authority -- and with the 2014 election just weeks away.
ThIS (sic) debate was supposed to happen when House Republicans sued Obama over his having delayed a portion of Obamacare unilaterally. But if he does even one of the things mentioned above without Congress (much less two or three of them in the span of a few days/weeks), the court of public opinion will pretty much be forced to weigh in on whether he has gone too far.
As we've written before, the GOP's lawsuit against Obama is unpopular, with a recent poll showing Americans opposed it 58-34.
But that doesn't mean they aren't concerned about Obama -- or any president, for that matter -- going too far without the consent of Congress. In fact, there is plenty of concern about a unilateral executive and commander in chief.

Only if the media makes an issue of it.
Otherwise, it will still be something that “Only you CRAZY people!” care about.
Never Again? This is a very powerful video to share:

Time to dethrone this impostor.
He won.
I was going to say "only if Republicans in the Senate make an issue of it." But they won't. Maybe Ted Cruz will, but Mitch McConnell will call him crazy, and most other Republicans in the Senate will either go along or keep quiet.
Looks as if there is no controlling authority over Obama’s actions wonder how many risks he will take?.
Ya think!!??
If there was a speaker of the house with decent sized family jewels, there would be a way to stop this, and not necessarily with impeachment which would get the idleminds in an uproar, “B RASCHUS”
I was going to say, why would the Congressional Republicans be anxious? They haven’t lifted a little finger to stop him up to this point, and now he knows they won’t. I don’t think they even really care most of the time, as long as it doesn’t affect their ride on the gravy train. As far as amnesty goes, they were loud and proud about supporting it until this latest invasion, now they can just stand back and squeak as if they are opposed, while Hussein does exactly what they themselves were public about wanting to do until very recently. I don’t doubt that he knows it too.
To few in congress would vote for impeachment it’s the buddy system at play we lose and pay taxes to do so.
Lets make it a ‘real issue’ BEFORE he grants amnesty by EO, ok?
And the major media only care if a republican administration oversteps the constitution. Far from being unbiased, these self-appointed guardians of the republic are right in there cheering on democrat overreach and marveling at their dear leader's ability to "get things done."

As events have shown us in the last six years, they HAVE TO, if they want to keep those cushy media jobs, keep getting invites to Tina Brown’s career making-breaking parties, or to remain popular at the gay bar.
As the official end of the Sultan’s term gets closer he is ramping up his “Transformation of America.” He has already assumed dictatorial powers ad has successfully ruled by decree to a limited extent . It is limited but it proves that it can be done and need not be limited. No one is going to stop him. Republicans fear they are going to be left out of the Ruling Elite if they actually oppose, so they won’t, beyond screaming in faux pain pain and feigned indignation. They are actually cooperating in the process and hope to profit politically and materially from it. Quislings are only useful during the Transformation, however, and when they are not needed any longer they go up against the bloody wall. And they don’t even get to be “eaten last.” There will be a lot of mopping up still to be done.
The climate change treaty has no teeth, the punishment is to be “shamed”. That’s it. There is absolutely no means of enforcement. Signing this treaty would be no different than Clinton signing the Kyoto treaty. Big deal. Give it no notice.
