Schrödinger's cat is the poster child for quantum weirdness. Now it has been immortalised in a portrait created by one of the theory's strangest consequences: quantum entanglement.
These images were generated using a cat stencil and entangled photons. The really spooky part is that the photons used to generate the image never interacted with the stencil, while the photons that illuminated the stencil were never seen by the camera.

Thanks!
My pleasure.
On the other hand I do not know if a new catagory would have discouraged non-conformist rebels like me from cross posting “Hello Kitty” info on a “Shrodinger’s Cat” thread...
So I guess, “You like”, eh? I think they’re the cutest things since the wheel was invented.
They’re adorable! Bijou is so fluffy and dainty and ladylike, and Kefira looks ready to take on the world! Me gusta!
Haha, Bijou’s got YOU fooled! She IS very fluffy (a grooming can yield me a ball of fur as big as a tennis ball or two). Dainty? Like a moose is dainty. Maine Coons have BIG feet, which often accidentally knock over knickknacks and other stuff off tables and shelves. Ladylike? Not really. She likes to jump up on the dining table and make chuffing sounds to solicit getting petted (her favorite thing). Once you start petting her, it’s TIM-BER! as she just falls over with a big thunk in relaxation. She is sooo funny. Kefira, half Bijou’s size, is the boss around here. She can terrorize Bijou with just the gentle tap of a paw.
Cats are good at fooling us. It’s their job.
I understand re the power arrangements: In my house, Misty (tiny little ball of fluff) is completely dominant over Deimos (15# tomcat).
My thoughts exactly. I was so excited to see another cat article on here, but it was a let down when I read it and had no idea what they were talking about.
