The Harvard Law professor who mentored President Obama and the first lady during their time in Cambridge has compared the Aug. 9 shooting of Michael Brown to the 1968 assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.
Speaking with MSNBC’s Alex Wagner, Charles Ogletree also compared the police shooting of 18-year-old Brown to the 1955 killing of Emmett Till.
“Looking at what’s happened, this is just like the assassination of Dr. King in 1968, when everybody was very upset trying to figure out what was going to happen,” he said. “It’s like the killing of Trayvon Martin two years ago.
“This is the example of a young man who did no wrong in the context of what people are talking about,” Mr. Ogletree said of Brown....

I predict that we will be hearing this nonsense endlessly right up to the day of the midterm elections. It will be nothing but the helpless “Saint Michael Brown” versus the evil murderous white officer Wilson, 24 hours a day.

Michael Brown was a low-life thug who deserved to die. Had he died like other punks of his ilk - by another black man - there would be no outrage, no rioting, looting and race baiting by Sharpton, Crump, Obama, Holder and the media.

It gauls me when people line up behind a perpatrator of a wrong doing that goes wrong. First he stole cigars and roughed up a man half his size. Then he was walking down the middle of the street with his friend in arrogance. When the officer showed up and asked him to move to the sidewalk, he got into a struggle with the officer instead of doing what was asked. Then he bum rushed the officer who had a broken bone in his face (according to reports). The officer shot his pistol in line with what he had been trained to do.
And the news media is still reporting that Michael Brown did nothing wrong. In reality, if he had acted as he should, he’d still be alive. How can this joker claim he did nothing wrong?
