Recently, states and communities have started to ban saggy pants, requiring those with their pants too low to pay a fine for indecency. The latest city to support the ban is Pikeville, Tennessee. If residents are caught sagging, they will be charged a $25 fine.
The ban has raised questions over whether or not the government has the right to institute laws that regulate someones fashion choices. There are also doubts as to whether police will take the time to enforce the law.
All I know is we just dont want them running around half-naked on our streets, Pikeville Mayor Phil Cagle told the Times Free Press. Thats the bottom line.
The ordinance was unanimously approved in the city, and anyone with pants hanging more than three inches below the top of the hips will be forced to pay the fine.
While some argue that the law is racist, officials claim that health concerns are top of mind as well.
What do you think of the new law?
Stoopit and asinine law.
What next? Mandate women may only lawfully wear maxi dresses like Amish women?
FU and the horse you rode in one.
If people wanna dress like crap that is their decision.
Maybe a ban on wearing body bags makes sense?
Iz dat fo real?
Maxi dresses are quite popular with women. One needs no law to get us to buy them.
I don’t get the baggy pants fad. It looks uncomfortable.
What happened to the jogging suits break dancers wore...that was a better young male fashion fad.
Only slaves and subjects follow dipsh!t policy from some wantabe rulers.
Civil rights, or my right to dress how ever I wish is my right.
It is not incumbent on someone else to address my choice of clothes unless it causes harm to others.
would I(even at my old age) wear my trousers around my knees... (not being fond of public humiliation) not likely.
But if you wish to follow some moronic fashion trend who is that for anyone to say...
Hell I remember having a pair of Beatles Boots, and long hair that were not actually acceptable by the main stream "old folks"
I can almost agree with him....
All I know is we just dont want them is more to my liking.
Its unfair to force these proud young nigros to wear their pants like a white guy.
“We wants our chillun to look lak the crmnils they iz on the ways to becumin....it be theys rights to emulates theyz heros...
If you can ban trans fats, you can ban saggy pants.
Pants on the Ground
Pants on the Ground
Lookin’ like a fool
With your pants on the Ground
With the gold in your mouth
Hat turned sideways
Pants hit the ground
Call yourself a cool cat
With your pants on the ground
Walkin’ downtown with your pants on the ground!
Giddy-up
Hey! Get your pants off the ground!
Lookin like a fool!
Walkin’ talkin’ with your pants on the ground!
Hey! Get your pants off the ground!
Lookin’ like a fool
With your pants on the Ground
With the gold in your mouth
Hat turned sideways
Call yourself a cool cat
Pants on the ground!

I’m torn on the issue because I usually side with individual rights. Its so ridiculous its hard to take it seriously. To me its a positive indication that they will never take over. LOL!
your right, one of my grandsons use to wear his pants like that. When at my house I told him to hike up his drawers as I am not interested in his butt crack...he be white...lol
My GF had a pair of pants that had a section on the top that looked like underwear. We were at a party when I first saw them but she stayed away from me the whole night. I thought she was crazy to have her underwear exposed all night until I saw the pants up close.
