Calm has come to Ferguson, Missouri, after nights of violent unrest over the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown. But a crucial question lingers: What happens if the grand jury considering the case doesn't return a charge against the officer?

So... the possibility of blackmail is raised?
Railroad an innocent man or there will be violence?
Cordon the place off.
Fixed it.
Well, real leadership would not let rioting happen. If it needs to be put down, so be it. Nothing to fear here but poor leadership.
Whatever happens it won’t be as bad as it would be to convict a man because a mob demands it.
Obviously they finish burning what is left.
Personally I fear they’ll indict just to save their own asses but a conviction is a whole lot higher hurdle.
We all know what “No Justice, No Peace” really means.
Easy, Ferguson will destroy itself and thereby benefit the nation.
Problem solved.
From comment section:
Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by police with guns. Who’s gonna do it? You? You, Mr. Governor? I have a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You weep for Michael Brown, and you curse Darren Wilson. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That Brown’s death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And Wilson’s existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives. You don’t want the truth because deep down in places you don’t talk about at parties, you want him on that wall, you need him on that wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand a post. Either way, I don’t give a damn what you think you are entitled to.
Four Ferguson arrests out of 120 people.
This is hardly the work of Ferguson people destroying their own town.
Here’s a great short video Michael Brown should have watched before he attacked a police officer.

That rant has come to mind many times.
What happens? Angry black men will march into small town in rural America where 90% of the white population are members of the NRA.
These angry black men will riot, and burn down their shooting ranges and will loot their gun shops. They will then go into the woods and suck punch many of these white men who are out hunting.
Sound likely?
Rest assured they will throw the book at him and have a public lynching if they have their way. It doesn’t matter if Brown was a serial killer, child molester, or armed robber, he’s black and was killed by a white racist bigot. It doesn’t matter if charged at the officer and was going to take his own weapon and kill him with it. The white cop shot him because he was racist. If he had just let Brown kill him with his own weapon everything would be just fine with the looters, pillagers, and plunderers.
This whole ordeal has always been about an excuse.
An excuse; a reason and ‘justification’ to sow mayhem across the country.
An excuse; a reason and ‘justification’ to implement a militarized police force across the country.
Nothing more.
Awesome.
A reminder that Kipling’s “Tommy Atkins” applies to cops as well.
The key thing about a no bill is going to be getting all the exculpatory evidence out in public quickly. Cop was assaulted and hit in the face. Brown made a struggle for the gun. Brown was charging the cop when the shots were fired, etc. If all of that is true it needs to come out with as much force as possible.
There may still be riots, but there will be ZERO moral excuse for them.
If left-wing wacko Yahoo is discussing the possibility of no charges, then there is a good possibility that there won’t be charges. They are preparing their readers (queers and people who follow the Kardashians) for the big disappointment
