After meeting with a "bevy" of big-business groups, President Barack Obama is reportedly considering granting them up to 800,000 additional guest-worker visas via executive actions.

If congress allows this tyranny, the republic is lost.
How can a President find time to play more games than a golf pro?
Anyone advising GOP congressional candidates would do well to counsel them: “If you get a ‘gotcha’ question on Obama, immigration and executive orders, just say,
‘Well, most Americans were vehemently opposed to the Affordable Care act too, but the Democrats pushed it through and look (here, clear your throat) look how well it’s done!’
“Then stop talking.”
Honestly, I find that hard to believe. I think lot of employers say that to create the illusion we need to import cheap labor.
After he does this, he will turn around and complain some more about income inequality.
It is so true.
People are lazy in this country.
Many people at my workplace don’t work. They surf the web or talk.
Economically depressed Ferguson will love this, and vote for every Democrat on the ticket, again.
Could that be because they can get more collecting government checks?
What a moron!
I’ve been in several related technical fields in the last few decades. It’s not just entry level; mid-level and high-level technicians and managers have very low self-expectations and careless attitudes, not to mention general illiteracy.
Entry-level employees rarely want to show up every day and simply won’t leave their smartphones alone.
That said, the truth is that bringing in millions of Third-Worlders isn’t going to solve the problem, as they quickly learn that government handouts are easier than doing a job. And they know they can vote themselves an easier life.
Slap in the face?
It’s been decades long, country killing incremental national suicide.
Illegals in the workforce began driving down the average prices for labor in this country decades ago. It's now gotten so bad, that Americans won't even consider working in trades that historically paid well enough to sustain a family and live the American Dream.
If Americans are fat and lazy, it's because they've been driven into that debased condition by unfair competition in the workplace.
And who allowed, and even promoted this? Socialist Democrats, of course -- only recently aided and abetted by liberal Republicans.
You ran into no one. Bull shit.
Pay a decent wage and Americans will take the jobs.
People earning 1989 wages are losing their azzes but are gaining a whole lot of anger and discontent.
BTW Reb, how many millions more low wage foreign nationals and low wage illegals should Americans be prepared to open our doors to?
??
Maybe someone should start a boycott of companies that don’t “hire American in America”
Obama is an imbecile. Worst president ever.
Millions and millions of American citizens can’t even get interviewed for work and this illegal alien wants to give away another 800,000 jobs?! How much more damage will USA allow him to do?
What about the apathy that the higher level techs probably succumb to when they see same level and above doing this as well as grades below them? Seriously, it is pretty difficult to watch people with less technical knowledge and hands-on experience than you get promoted over you when they are doing a lot less and not cop an attitude about it.
In most cases (and I’m talking about nearly every job I’ve held in my entire life) loafers are allowed to loaf and prosper and doers are saddled with ever greater responsibility with lackluster remuneration in comparison to the workload/responsibility level of the loafers.
If you make dumb people feel dumber, it does tend to generate fear and anxiety as well as shorten careers when the dumb person feeling slighted is your manager.
that said, I am sure there are plenty of people who just don’t want to work to begin with regardless of their level of ability to do so.
Yes there are many fat ass lazy Americans but it’s hard to believe that nobody wants to work when so many are looking and having trouble finding work. Maybe the business owners don’t want to pay the wages required to live on these days.
