Mitt Romney and his former running mate, Paul Ryan, will be making their first public appearance together since losing to Obama/Biden two years ago. Ryan is traveling the country to promote a book and is also said to be considering a run for the White House himself.
Romney will interview Ryan Thursday night on stage at the Union League Club of Chicago.
Ryan's book has met some criticism given its handling of the immigration issue - which is increasingly being exposed as a stone cold loser of an issue in the very mid-term elections Ryan suggested it be used by GOP candidates. Romney, as well as some of his staff, reportedly cooperated with Ryan on the book.
"Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) suggested that Republican candidates in this year's midterm elections should run on granting a pathway to citizenship for all of the country's illegal immigrants."

Maybe they can have Glenn Beck do the commercials. A few tears might help sell it. (Jackasses)
how much rope do we have ?
The Chamber of Commerce funded Uniparty doesn’t care what us peons think.
So Willard Romney the open socialist and his trusty sidekick Milquetoast Man have come out for the illegal invaders. How nice.
Don’t worry - they’ll go back to being rock-ribbed conservatives by the time primaries roll around.
Shocking, lol.
he’s thinking he wants some more of Zuckerberg’s loot
Ryan is a dangerous SOB
Of course, it only makes sense then that the Establishment republicans would latch on to it, like a rock sinking to the bottom of the ocean.
Bill Bennett’s a RINO. His promoting of PR/shamnesty should confirm that.
Good gawsh.....these two amnesty clowns need to go away...for good.
Sorry, Mitt...I would vote for you or Ryan over Obama or Clinton...but only as a last resort.
Any politian even hinting at amnesty for illegal liens loses my direct support in favor of candidates dedicated to the preservation of our Republic and sovereignty. Only voted for in the face of only even far worse a choice.
I pray God in Heaven we are not faced with that prospect again.
As it is Ryan is clearly in that category...as are you...of pimping himself out politically to illegal aliens
Cantor getting booted taught these RINO morons NOTHING.
They’re doubling down on playing Democrat Lite.
Is anyone really surprised? This has been his stance all long. He has always been a lib.
We also know that you know where most of the sleeper cells, the MS-13 types, and general parasites are and we want them gone!
BS walks, gentlemen...
Bill Bennett has the morals of a conniving liar.
Every time I hear of him and recall that he wrote “The Book of Morals”, it makes me wonder if he ever read the damned thing.
Does he honestly think it’s moral or push Romney, the inspiration for Obamacare? Does he think it’s moral to trash Obamacare because it’s unConstituional, then support a man who wanted to replace it with his own better version of unConstitutional?
This is a guy who refused to admit Pat Buchanan wasn’t an anti-Semite. Okay, if that’s what he thinks, and if he believes that, then how come he used to go to Pat’s home by invitation to socialize there? I refuse to socialize with anti-Semites. Mr. Morals doesn’t.
Bennett is a massive fraud. Can’t stand the guy. He’s a pompous egotistical a.h.
Medvid is another not a Conservative Conservative.
No wonder these frauds support an amnesty that isn’t an amnesty.
Ol’Bill lost me when he claimed he wrote the book. He didn’t write anything. The book is a compilation of other peoples stuff and he should have been prosecuted for claiming he did. Maybe he numbered the pages. I started to read it and realized I’d seen it all before-—so it went on my junk fiction shelf where I put books that haven’t earned the right to be in my real stuff (non-fiction) library.
As to Romney and Ryan cooperating: sure they did. They done it before by successfully getting their in-grown asses handed to them in the last election. Guys who can’t spit out a clear, principled, purpose/platform/plan will forever get their lunch stolen. Romney claims to be a highly successful big time business guy but the more I hear him the more I believe he’s an empty suit who’s a front for someone who let’s him out too often. He dam sure can’t translate business success into clearly stated plans for gummint.???
LOL!
Well, we'll see. The GOPe threw Christie out there; he fizzled. Then they tried hosting Jeb; he went over like a lead balloon. Now Prince Reibus is desperately trying out Myth. We'll see how long he lasts.
Point is, they'll keep throwing RINO after RINO after RINO out, to gauge the receptivity. I have a feeling Ryan's next.
This Wisconsinite will not vote for Paul Ryan EVER again.
Fool me once...though I WAS voting for the lesser of two evils at the time.
