More concrete are personal benefits, such as waiting until one is willing and able to care for a child, and societal benefits for women, including finishing school and entering the workforce. There is NO BENEFIT to murdering an innocent human being and adoption has always been available for those who cannot care for their babies.

He concluded by comparing abortion to gay rights. For years, he cried, the public dialogue on gays did not comport with the private reality and The laws treated homosexuality as deviant, when it was common; as shameful, when it was human. More faggotry masquarading as "honest debate". #THECONSENSUSISINNOWSITDOWNANDSHUTUP

The laws treated homosexuality ... as shameful, when it was human.Wow, what a really, really stupid argument.
Only things done by humans CAN be shameful. Animals are incapable of shame. And many, many things humans do are, and should be, shameful.

There is NO BENEFIT to murdering an innocent human beingSure there is, including those he mentions.
I respectfully suggest that what you are trying to say is that the horrific non-benefit of killing an innocent human greatly outweighs those benefits.

Abortion: It's not about
women's rights,
"choice,"
freedom or responsibility.
It's about one thing and one thing only
Money!
The Abortion Industry "donates" a percentage of every abortion performed to the Democrat Party.
It's about money!
Abortionists are hired hit-men for Democrats!

I wonder if the writer thinks that beheading is A Deeply Affirmative Value.
It's a choice that an muslim makes. Choice is very precious to the muslim thug.
To: wagglebee
Nothing affirmative for the baby in the deal.
This is part if the ongoing “normalization” of abortion. These people figure, we’ve won every other social issue the last 50 years, why can’t we make abortion as socially sacrosanct (as opposed to legally sacrosanct) as the rest?
But abortion can’t be normalized any more than Islamic beheading can be normalized. People recognize instinctively that abortion is deeply wrong, and all the campaigns against “abortion shaming” won’t change that.

There is also no benefit to a sexual culture that encourages promiscuity and fosters resentment towards the “burden” of children (otherwise known as “punishments”)
Such a culture is destined to wither and die.
Or if I could rephrase in Obamaspeak....
The future does not belong to those who tear down their own offspring, but rather to those who build them up.
To: wagglebee
adoption has always been available for those who cannot care for their babies. This isn't about the life of the child, it's about liberal values. They know damn well that if the mother carries that child to term, she will love it like her own or she will deeply regret giving up that baby for adoption. The scars of abortion last forever.

By time abortion enters the picture, it is no longer about “reproduction.” That has already occurred. The question now is responsibility, accountability, and consequences.
