The Gateway Pundit can now confirm from two local St. Louis sources that police Officer Darren Wilson suffered facial fractures during his confrontation with deceased 18 year-old Michael Brown. Officer Wilson clearly feared for his life during the incident that led to the shooting death of Brown. This was after Michael Brown and his accomplice Dorian Johnson robbed a local Ferguson convenience store.
Local St. Louis sources said Wilson suffered an orbital blowout fracture to the eye socket. This comes from a source within the District Attorneys office and confirmed by the St. Louis County Police.

Yes!
Ouch. THAT pic needs to be posted on all of the lefty/St Mike loving sites.
Not sure who these cops are but it's odd how suddenly everyone's camera isn't HD.
“I didn’t do it, nobody saw me do it, you can’t prove anything.”
Great post. Hopefully all CCW instructors teach the same thing with abundant emphasis.

“Now, thats an impression thats hard to reverse.”
Agree with you, but you’re in effect wanting the police department of a fairly minor town (or township or whatever the heck it is) to complete with the full-on media pile-on/feeding frenzy. The media, of course, can say absolutely anything as long as they do not commit outright libel and simply apologize for it and it’s over. The police department probably is scared out of its freaking mind as to the possible implications of every conceivable action that could ever make, including the sequence thereof, and the implications of any sort of news release...especially looking forward to department testimony in the inevitable trial of the officer. They have the DOJ and the FBI and half a dozen other agencies breathing down their necks. The potential legal bill for defending this cop is probably roughly equivalent to their annual budget.
You get my drift.
I didn’t go through ALL the comments to see if this was mentioned but I went through a lot of them.
This injury explains, partly, the multiple shots the officer took and the wound pattern, which was all over the place. His vision had to be impaired especially if it was his dominant eye used to aim his firearm. The other part of the explanation is the size, momentum and determination of Mike Brown.
Easy. You KEEP SHOOTING UNTIL THE THREAT IS OVER.
...good Lord... you guys win...sheesh...semantics...
...may I infer from your response that all the while you are shooting until the threat is over you are in fact shooting with lethal ammunition as directly as possible at the perp...?
“The other is why not disclose this, waiting and watching your city burn for over a week....makes absolutely no sense at all”
Could it be that some people wanted this to happen so that the rest of the U.S. and the world could see the animalistic behavior of the protestors/looters?
I don’t want to read too much into that photo, but Brown’s arms are extended backwards, not forwards, as you might expect if he had his arms raised.
It would be helpful if American men would stop supporting the National Felons League.

Yes. This fact and the facts of the trial were ignored in favor of the original narrative that St. Skittles was an innocent little boy who was murdered in cold blood for no reason by a racist.
“An additional scenario is that LEO ran the ladder on the perp to stop him; starting low (leg region) and ending at center mass. “
I thought one started for center of mass first.
Brown charging... finally went down just two to three feet from Wilson.
No , choice of words is what I said. Anything else will indict you.
