The Bible condemns abortion with its admonitions against murder and encouragement to choose life and respect the life God created. But the wife of a prominent late-term abortion practitioner thinks the Bible justifies her husband’s profession.
After a hearing late last week which saw a local judge issue an order closing down his abortion clinic if it failed to meet state health and safety laws, Martin Haskell and his wife left the courtroom and were greeted by pro-life advocates.
Bryan Kemper of Stand True, Paula Westwood of Cincinnati Right to Life, and Mark Harington of Created Equal were present in the courtroom for the verdict while members of the groups protested outside.
After the decision, Ms. Haskell left the courtroom and Kemper and Harrington caught up with her for a conversation. After telling her to stop being involved with abortions and to turn to Jesus Christ, Haskell said, “No, it’s time for you to repent and turn to Jesus Christ.”
Bryan asked, “How is it OK to kill children?” Ms. Haskell responded and said, “Read the bible and you’ll see.”

She never does get around to explaining where in the Bible she finds support for killing babies.

Quoth Shakespeare:
“The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose.
An evil soul producing holy witness
Is like a villain with a smiling cheek,
A goodly apple rotten at the heart:
O, what a goodly outside falsehood hath!”

I’m pretty sure she’s referring to Proverbs 8:36.

I’m sure she’s referring to what Jesus said about children and mill stones.

if it failed to meet state health and safety laws, And even the "safety laws" allow 50% of the patients who go in to come out dead.

“Read the Bible and you’ll see”
Sounds like the ruminations of a nutjob who hasn’t even opened a Bible. It’s just easier to make a general reference to it.

Nothing more vile than convincing someone to
“kill your baby so I feel better about killing mine”.

To people like this crazed wench, Kermit Gosnell would have Prophet status if he was doing what she infers is “God’s work.”
This is why there is simply no reasoning with liberals. They are to be mocked and detested, and their ideology crushed.

She misunderstood the passage.

Pharaoh ordered the death of Hebrew children (”Feed them to the Nile”).
Moses was preserved.
Herod ordered the death of Hebrew children (”Kill all male children under 2YO”).
Christ was preserved (Ironically by going to Egypt!)
So, I guess “abortion”, in some form, is in the Bible but always in the revelation of EVIL and an attempt by man to defeat the plans of YHWH.

the inspired word of God describes the killing of the innocents and the subsequent flight into Egypt to save the life of the King of The Jews The Massacre of the Innocents was prophesied in Jeremiah 31:15; however, the Innocents were not massacred to save our Lord, they were massacred because Herod wanted to kill our Lord. The Holy Innocents have traditionally been seen as the first Christian martyrs; however, their martyrdom does not imply that God condoned it.

the inspired word of God describes the killing of the innocents and the subsequent flight into Egypt to save the life of the King of The Jews The Bible records a lot of things that were done that were wrong.
That doesn't condone or justify it or sin.
It's a record of actions that happened, not an endorsement of them.
