......................"A visibly angry [Missouri State Police Capt. Ron ] Johnson said that officers had come under heavy gunfire from protesters and at least two people had been shot. Johnson said he did not know the condition of the shooting victims. Four officers had been injured when they were struck by rocks or bottles, though Johnson claimed that police had not fired a single shot.
Citing what he called a "dangerous dynamic in the night," Johnson requested that protests take place during the daylight hours, so that officers could effectively isolate any troublemakers. However, Johnson said that his forces could not make protesters leave the streets after sunset if they did not want to.
"This nation is watching each and every one of us," said Johnson. "I am not going to let the criminals that have come here from across this country, or live in this neighborhood, define this community." Johnson added that some of those who had been arrested overnight had come from as far afield as New York and California. The trooper also directed his wrath at the assembled media, saying that they had put themselves and officers in danger by failing to clear areas when asked before imploring them to "not glamorize the acts of criminals.".................

Two shot, 31 arrested during latest Ferguson protests
http://nypost.com/2014/08/19/ferguson-officer-overheard-reporting-a-gunshot-victim-during-latest-protests/
I’ve read on some reports that there were some anarchists (white guys) in the crowd, causing some trouble (throwing bottles/rocks). As a white person, I would have no qualms if a few of these white anarchists got shot/killed.
A large percentage of Blacks are being lead around like Pavlov’s dogs..
No.. snark it’s just the truth...
Hard to imagine the state of mind of one’s so easy and willing to be manipulated..
AND they are willing.. able.. and maleficently orchestrated... like feral beasts..
Black church’s seem to be holed up at home.. trying to remain safe..
Who can blame them..
A hard rain gonna fall in the black precincts...
You know.... BEFORE they spill out into the white precincts.. AND they will eventually..
Just two weeks ago, the Ferguson PD were using the same types of tools against these thugs...and the media had their panties in all KINDS of knots.
Turns out FPD was RIGHT ALL ALONG.
Can Anyone Fix the Ferguson Police Department? It needs to be overhauled. It takes time, but it can be done.
"President Obama on Monday announced that he will send Attorney General Eric Holder to Ferguson, Missouri. Americas top law enforcement official will meet with FBI agents conducting the civil rights investigation into the death of Michael Brown, the unarmed, black 18-year-old who was shot and killed by a white police officer a little more than a week ago. The investigation into Browns deathwhich will include a federal autopsy of his bodyis expected to take some time. But its end will likely only mark the beginning of a larger probe into the Ferguson Police Department, which has seemingly gone out of its way to stoke protesters anger by refusing to clarify the circumstances of the shooting, and by greeting the originally peaceful protests with military-grade riot gear."
Any meaningful reconciliation to the chaos and conflict provoked by this episode will have to include reform of the Ferguson Police Department. But how could that be done? How do you fix a police department that has proven it cant police itself?
If Holder concludes that there has been a pattern of misconduct by the policeeither in the lead-up to Browns death or in its aftermaththe president has the ability to force widespread reforms within the department with the help of a law passed in the wake of the Rodney King beating. The provision in question, part of what was officially known as the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, is one of the most significant pieces of civil rights legislation passed in the latter part of 20th century, and also one of the most overlooked, according to Joe Domanick, the associate director of the John Jay College of Criminal Justices Center on Media, Crime, and Justice. The law gives the federal government two options: It can either formally pursue a federal civil rights lawsuit against the Ferguson Police Department by alleging a pattern and practice of misconduct or the administration and city officials can enter into what is known as a consent decree that would mandate a specific set of reforms that would then be overseen by an independent court-appointed monitor. Faced with the possibility of a costly court battle, most cities have historically taken the path of least resistance and signed on the decrees dotted lines. Ferguson officials probably wouldnt buck that trend............."
Law abiding gun owners blamed for this by demonrats in 3....2....1.....
Yes the incident was terrible. Hopefully we get the truth. Not jessie & als truth but the real truth. If it turns out the cop was wrong then throw the book at him. At this time all we have is bits and pieces given to us by the LSM. They have proven beyond any doubt that the are biased and wrong a lot.
If it turns out the cop was in the right, he will still have to move far away.
I would really like to see al & jessie charged with inciting a riot sometime.
Remember Twanda Brawley? Remember Freddies?
Too late! The people who live there and started all this have already defined the town.
wth doesn’t the (democrat) governor declare a dusk to dawn curfew in this dangerous situation?
enough pandering
any blood shed is on his politically-correct head
You've been around a long time now. That's not all we have. There are a lot of salient facts that have been posted here and elsewhere.
Cordially,
Yes, I agree, an underlying motive.
I stand by my statement. Just because something is printed here doesn't make it true. Yes I want the cop to be found to be right. They have a next to impossible job. Yes some are bad and need to be sent packing.
The only thing that will save the cop is if someone taped the whole incident from start to finish. The family does not want the truth they want the cop thrown in jail. Yes I read where some say Brown was charging the officer. That makes sense, I like to believe that policemen don't shoot unarmed citizens just for the fun of it.
The people who come out in favor of the cop will be silenced real fast. . . . . . I have seen it too many times. . . .
Again only a authentic video will save the cop. The chances of that are nil.. If one did surface it would be destroyed.
You’re late. Another thread already has the Left blaming the Tea Pary and NRA.
” [Missouri State Police Capt. Ron ] Johnson “
No no. Local Ferguson cops are the problem. There are no State cops in Ferguson.
Any more of these non-narrative reports and you’ll need to report to the reeducation camp.
Speaking of the news media, Johnson said...........”they had put themselves and officers in danger by failing to clear areas when asked before imploring them to “not glamorize the acts of criminals.”.................
Good news doesn’t sell, bad news is what people want to read, hear or see. Guess Johnson never went to journalism classes.
The only thing agitators understand is power and force. Until someone has the gonads to say, “enough is enough”, the civil unrest in Ferguson (and elsewhere) will continue. Time to drop the hammer!

BOMBSHELL! Reporter: A Dozen Witnesses Confirm #Ferguson Cops Version of Brown Shooting
Cordially,
I mean an EFFECTIVE curfew
Dusk to dawn
The looters and violence mostly come after dark, and the chances of miscalculation by the police are greatly increased after dark
Get the dingbats back into their homes - not out in the streets at night with children
