As rightfully incensed residents of Ferguson, Missouri continue to protest a police shooting that left an unarmed black teenager, Michael Brown, dead, Ron Davisfather of Jordan Davis, another slain black teen in Jacksonville, Floridais appearing before the United Nations, aiming to shame the United States for the recent murders of young black men, and the gross miscarriages of justice that allowed their killers to walk free.
Davis attended the 85th meeting of the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination in Geneva, Switzerland this past Wednesday and Thursday, in hopes of pressuring Washington to amp up efforts to stop the disturbing epidemic of what he and the United States Human Rights Network (USHRN), the NGO backing him, call the criminalization of race in America.
The U.S. was forced to answer questions from Davis and the international community in what the American Civil Liberties Union told press was a singular opportunity to hold Washington accountable.
Davis is outraged over what he (and many others) say is a rash of unpunished murders of young black men across the country.
Just six months after George Zimmerman was acquitted in killing unarmed black teen Trayvon Martin, Davis son Jordan was gunned down at a gas station after he and his friends refused to lower their music. The case against Jordans killer, Michael Dunn, resulted in a mistrial.
After their murders, the character of both Trayvon Martin and Jordan Davis was called into question, with the defense attorneys for the killers attempting to paint the boys as young thugsmere criminals, who were deserving of their death sentences at the hands of men who acted as the judge, jury, and executionermuch like what Ferguson PD is attempting to do with the slain Mike Brown, by stating he was a suspect in a strong armed robbery prior to being shot down.
These things eat at you that shouldnt have happened, and the people doing these transgressions are getting away with it, Davis told Al Jazeera.
Ron Davis was joined in Geneva by Trayvon Martins mother, Sybrina Fulton.
He hopes to channel his anger over the death of his son into a solution for black fathers who have come to teach their children to accept police brutality as a fact of life in the United States. Davis and USHRN director Ejim Dike hope that taking Americas race issues to the international community will create political leverageand a climate for changein Washington.
Said Dike, We have a lot of people directly impacted by the violence. We have exhausted our domestic remedies. We have to take this to the United Nations. We have to see if we can leverage that pressure to see if we can get people to act on this issue. Talking about any issue as a human rights violation gets the attention of the U.S. government. Its embarrassing for the government that champions itself as a beacon of human rights in the world.
An' I don't mind 'em switchin' sides
An' standin' up for things they believe in
When they're runnin' down my country, man
They're walkin' on the fightin' side of me
Yeah, walkin' on the fightin' side of me
Runnin' down the way of life
Our fightin' men have fought and died to keep
If you don't love it, leave it
Let this song I'm singin' be a warnin'
You're runnin' down my country, man
You're walkin' on the fightin' side of me
I read about some squirrelly guy
Who claims, he just don't believe in fightin'
An' I wonder just how long
The rest of us can count on bein' free
They love our milk an' honey
But they preach about some other way of livin'
When they're runnin' down my country, hoss
They're walkin' on the fightin' side of me
Yeah, walkin' on the fightin' side of me
Runnin' down the way of life
Our fightin' men have fought and died to keep
If you don't love it, leave it
Let this song I'm singin' be a warnin'
But you're runnin' down my country, man
You're walkin' on the fightin' side of me
Yeah, walkin' on the fightin' side of me
Runnin' down the way of life
Our fightin' men have fought and died to keep
Yeah if you don't love it, leave it
Let this song I'm singin' be a warnin'
And you're runnin' down my country, man
You're walkin' on the fightin' side of me

Racists view everything in terms of race.
Bingo!
That card was worn out years ago.
Welcome to the NWO.
PS- They’re criminalizing it themselves.
Yes, please. Let’s go here. Let’s have an international comparison of victims of crime by racial statistics in America. I’m begging ya.
“As rightfully incensed residents of Ferguson, Missouri continue to protest a police shooting that left an unarmed black teenager, Michael Brown, dead, “
No bias there.
Everyone hates the US, but they don’t mind our “wrinkled” money....>.<
I wonder who this Davis thinks are the black fathers teaching their kids about police brutality, since most black teens do not have a father in the home. And in many cases do not know who their father is.
Going to the UN. I suggest both of these so called “fathers” be charged with treason against the sovereign United States of America. But hey! The freeloaders are getting to vacation in Switzerland. Probably at somebody else’s expense. Never let a good opportunity go to waste.

Sunday morning after a midnight curfew took effect in a St. Louis suburb where a black teen had been shot by a white police officer while walking down the street.
A black teen who just strangled a convenience store clerk,(not to death) while stealing from the store and who slammed into a police cruisers door being opened by a cop and tried to take the cops gun and shoot him then when the cop got out of the car, the perp ran all his 300 lbs toward the cop trying to bowl him over.....he got shot.
The news media is not reporting that part of the story.
but HEY, at least they THINK they can distract the public from incompetence in the White House!

Teach your kids to obey the Popos and take it up with the Judge later. Teach your kids to keep their machismo to themselves and to not disturb others in public. Teach them about property rights and the US Constitution.
Teach your kids about self-control and long term planning.
Can we get them to indict Obama and upon conviction, serve his sentence in his country of origin - Kenya!
Can’t speak for the others, but Zimmerman got put through the wringer and it was obvious at the end that there was no case against him, the cops were right not to initially arrest and refer for prosecution and that he was only tired to sate the bloodlust of certain socio-political demographic groups.
What should scare people is what these race hustling problem profiteers are really calling for: abandonment of presumption of innocence and due process in favor of summary judgement and instant condemnation.
Welcom to the Judge Dredd era ...
93% of black murders are committed by black people, in America.
I’m a white man:
1. I will be challenged if I walk down the street near where I live
2. I will experience a very negative situation if I trash talk an officer telling me to get out of the street
3. I cannot push him back in his vehicle
5. I cannot wrestle for the officer’s gun, then leave the scene
6. I cannot help discharge his weapon during a struggle and leave
7. I cannot return to the scene and run at an officer displaying an attack mode and get away with it
8. I cannot flash gang signs and be thought of as an upstanding citizen
9. If I am shot threatening an officer, my family will not call in the United Nations
10. If I am shot threatening an officer, my family will not defend me
11. If my child does the things it seems this young man did, I’m not going to blame it on anyone but him/her
12. I will not ask people across the nation to back our play
13. I would sooner provide an apology than demand one
