Ebola patients flee armed attack on Liberian isolation ward

Armed men attacked an Ebola isolation ward in the Liberian capital Monrovia overnight, prompting 29 patients to flee the facility, witnesses said Sunday.

'They broke down the doors and looted the place. The patients all fled,' said Rebecca Wesseh, who witnessed the attack and whose report was confirmed by residents and the head of Health Workers Association of Liberian, George Williams.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian man was today at the centre of an Ebola health scare on the Spanish Costas, which contains an estimated British population of more than 82,000.

At this point, the best thing that could happen would to not let ANYONE leave areas where Ebola has spread without being in a very long quarantine. Won't happen.

Not to mention that you'd have to also quarantine the people who guard the areas as well, and quarantine those who guard the guards, and so on. It is Africa, after all.

As to whether Boca Haram might have been involved, since their name itself is anti education, then perhaps they don’t believe the means of transmission (probably Allah’s punishment for not being Muslim enough).
