The Kurdistan Regions Peshmerga Ministry has said that from now on they will have a daily press conference to inform the Kurdistan public of new developments to prevent the circulation of propaganda and false information.
Halgord Hikmat, the spokesman for the Peshmerga Ministry told BasNews from Erbil, that the recent US airstrikes in the Makhmur and Mosul regions against Islamic State (IS) Militants had inflcited huge loses on the extremist group.
A lot of IS militants have been killed and many of their wounded have been captured by Peshmerga forces, added Hikmat.
'During the recent clashes with IS, a coordination committee has been formed between between the Peshmerga, Iraqi Army and US forces, revealed Hikmat.
He also said that currently there are number of US military advisers working with Peshmerga forces regarding their battles with IS insurgents.
The US airstrikes against IS positions are done with the coordination of Peshmerga forces, concluded Hikmat.
Since earlier this week, US Military planes have shelled IS Militants in Northern Iraq.

"A lot of IS militants have been killed and many of their wounded have been captured by Peshmerga forces, added Hikmat." Hopefully, the wounded will be handed over to the loving care of Kurdish and Yazidi women.

ISIS is ten miles wide and an inch deep. They can’t repel a coordinated counter assault on them. Once their heavy equipment is destroyed they’ll be reduced to an insurgent force.

I doubt that the people who have had their loved ones murdered by ISIS will let them live very long.

It depends on how much local support they receive. You don’t destroy insurgencies via air power alone. And exactly who will lead the counter assault?

We don’t need boots on the ground. Just airpower. The Kurdish Peshmerga ARE the boots on the ground.

Here we go again, three square meals at Gitmo, clean underwear and new Korans for bearded barbarians. I doubt the Peshmerga forces will turn them over to be sent to Gitmo. I predict the captured wounded will eventually die of their wounds.

OK, the Peshmerga forces might be our allies .. but they still practice the primitive form of battle — KILL THEM WITH NO MERCY.
I have Kurdish friends in NY and they tell me that.

Yep. Hence their need for terror.
No supply lines and troops way over extended. They only got what they can carry off.
Now if they can somehow take Bagdad then the Game changes.
