“Comprehensive immigration reform” equals a very depressing effect on legitimate US citizens who happen to fall in the low end of economic achievement, in particular, the permanent underclass that find among their numbers a goodly part of young black men.

Already disproportionately in abundance in the prison population, the frictions generated there between the young blacks and the newer even more disadvantaged illegal immigrants only point to still more unrest in our existing penitentiaries. But this would be as nothing in the wider world outside jail, in that there are just so many more ways to work mischief on each other.

“Affirmative action” will be redirected from its emphasis on the black underclass, and applied to the non-English-speaking new “minority”, who have even less allegiance to the abstraction known as “America”, than the black youth they are displacing.

But these newly displaced black youth have nowhere to go, or at least, they believe they do not. And like steam building in a closed chamber, the pressure will continue to grow until it no longer can be contained.

In an abstract way, it may be interesting to watch, but nobody wants to be close to the place where the system fails altogether and catastrophically.

I agree. The late Terry Anderson, African-American civil rights activist and talk show host, effectively explained the harm done to this country and specifically to black communities by illegal aliens.

The Dems have a vested interest in illegal immigration.

In 2012 MR defeated BHO by 20% among white voters.

If demographic factors in this country had not changed so drastically over the last several decades, that fact alone would have guaranteed MR a landslide victory similar to RN’s in 1972 and RR’s in 1984.

Look at my state-—CA-— as a prime example. It voted GOP in every presidential election from 1952 up to 1992 (except for 1964). Changing demographic factors have since turned the state solid blue. Not even RR could win a statewide election here anymore.

As someone who has seen first hand how the politics of a high school that is 30/30/30 % black/hispanic/white…I know that the minorities are very jealous of one another, while the whites keep a low profile. Why we have not turned this to our advantage--well, we are the stupid party.
