With the ISIS militant forces inching closer to Baghdad, Saudi Arabia has urged allies Pakistan and Egypt to send in troops to secure its border near Iraq.
Saudi Arabia shares a 500 mile-long border with Iraq and Syria.
The kingdom is calling in favors from Egypt and Pakistan, an adviser to the Saudi government told The Times. No one is certain what ISIS has planned, but its clear a group like this will target Mecca if it can. We expect them to run out of steam, but no one is taking any chances.
The ISIS has a strong control on Iraqs western borders near Syria and Jordan.
And with the militants taking one town after the other in Iraq, the Southern border with Saudi Arabia could be the next possible target.
The Saudi Arabia border near Iraq frontier is vulnerable as it lies near the Anbar province, which is largely held either by ISIS forces or by tribes which have sworn loyalty to the Caliphate under Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Last month, The Telegraph had reported that the Saudi government sent in an additional troop of over 30,000 soldiers to the desert border to stop any advance from the ISIS.
Interestingly, the ISIS has often been seen as a group that flourished under the patronage of the Saudis. There have been allegations in the international community that Saudi Arabia covertly supplied weapons to the ISIS to fight Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
ISIS has been a Saudi project, The Atlantic had quoted a senior Qatari official back in June.
However, Saudi Arabia has rubbished all such accusations. An ISIS invasion of Saudi Arabia is still a far-fetched idea, however, the Saudi government faces the threat inside the country.
As per a report in Al Monitor, the Saudi home ministry had discovered an ISIS splinter cell in the country back in May. The government had arrested 62 men, most of whom were Saudi nationals.
ok
The ONLY PLACE that is logical is the land of the IRON DOME, Israel.
Got to remember folks that most of the Middle East is under the iron fist of a satanic religion.
Would you send them if they did ask?
Even Israel had massive walls built to form a major border.
Im confused. Ghadaffi was a good guy?>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
You have to really look at history. Ghaddaffi was part of the mujahadeen initiatives. He then turned to support the USA even prior to 9/11. He fought the Jihadis in Eastern Libya and ruined their recruitment initiatives to recruit jihadi fighters for the war in Iraq.
Ghadaffi was a dictator, but one who was a devout Muslim , who was attempting to bring his nation into the modern era. Thats why he had a college of women body guard, its the only way that Libyan men would accept them going to college.
Yet most people swallowed the Obama propaganda about Ghadaffi hook , line and sinker. Look at what a Ghadaffiless Libya is like now? Economy in ruins. The bottle that is Africa is uncorked and the jihadists use his liberated military arsenal to wage jihad down into the heart of Africa, a thing that Ghadaffi had prevented, keeping the hert of Africa ( Nigeria, Chad etc)
And lastly Ghadaffi was greening the desert, in what was believed by Europeans to be an 8th wonder fo the world, so that food could be grown for the Libyan people.

You bet Ghadaffi was a good guy. The bad guy is behind the desk at the oval orifice of the White Hut. He is worse than Ghadaffi ever dreamed of being.

For an Arab leader, he was par for the course.
Saudi Arabia is all in with the US funding, training and arming the “Syrian rebels” to overthrow Assad. They created the monster ISIS that threatens to destroy them. Wouldn’t it be smarter if those that created this mess helped Syria defeat ISIS?
Yup. He was overthrown for access to the port at Benghazi and because Italian and other banks were worried he'd take back the $200 billion or so he had deposited in the west. Libya had one of the highest standards of living and education in the world and a lot of westerners very happy to live and work there.
Where the border goes through urban areas, yes.
“I am rather ambivalent about losing Saudi Arabia as a “friend,”
I’m not ambivalent at all. The Opecker Princes have brought about economic mysery to America with its oil games and pricing since the 1960’s.
How many hate America liberals and so called economic terrorists have they financed from Jimmy Carter to Clintoon to Obozo.
The Opecker pro Wahabi Princes have hated America and caused loss of lives for decades.
Let them and Isis destroy each other.
The inbred Opecker Princes have to be scared out of their rich and flowing robes re Isis.
I wonder if anyone ever took into account that both ‘granny’ Sarah and Malik visited Ghaddafi several times before he and his country were totally destroyed and he was murdered, his country turned to rubble...
Methinks he knew too much. ‘Granny’ blabbed and Malik was an agent for the muslim brotherhood.
Ghadaffi should have seen it coming. All that handshaking with the potus, Cameron, Nelson Mandela, Sarkozy at al probably made him feel a false sense of security. He probably never imagined the US would use his so-called friends against him and persuade NATO to utterly destroy his country and hand him over to the mob to be butchered in the street by fanatics.
Who still hold his son, btw, and not one word from the UN about that?
He offered his Great Underground River technology to Egypt, which meant that nation would have ultimately become able to feed itself. NATO bombed the Great Underground River infrastructure.
And now Libya has become just another cesspool in Africa. NATO committed war crimes in Libya.

Agreed.Ghadaffi was not as Obamas propaganda machine portrayed him.The West bought that hook, line and sinker, thanks to the MSM drive by media in the USA.It was liberal fascism on the march.
The cesspool is spreading.
NATO became a fscist tool under Obama’s so called “leadership.” NATO realizes that it has been had by Obama. Now NATO refuses to follow Obama, knowing he is a destroyer, which is why Putin is ready to romp in the Ukraine.
Obama has delivered Europe right back to 1925, and she faces many of the cyclic problems all over again, without any genuine alliance with the USA. So far the Russians are all over them. The question is simply when will the militarization of Germany begin? They will have to do so in order to stave off the Russians.Same with Japan. They will have to militarize to stave off the communist Chinese, North Korea and the Russians.
Thank you Barack....Uh.... Hussein,,,uh, UH ... Obama!
ISIS in action...

“...in the spring of 1972, at Tulane University...students asked Alinsky to help plan a protest of a scheduled speech by George H. W. Bush, then U.S. representative to the United Nations - a speech likely to include a defense of the Nixon administration’s Vietnam War policies. The students told Alinsky they were thinking about picketing or disrupting Bush’s address. That’s the wrong approach, he rejoined, not very creative - and besides causing a disruption might get them thrown out of school. He told them, instead, to go to hear the speech dressed as members of the Ku Klux Klan, and whenever Bush said something in defense of the Vietnam War, they should cheer and wave placards reading, The KKK supports Bush.’ And that is what they did, with very successful, attention-getting results.”
Great read... Thanks
Gadaffi made Obama look like Reagan.
Blows up an airliner with American citizens, installs Sharia law in Libya, funds terrorists etc,.
Great guy.
Yup.
