For decades, America has stood with Israel and defended its right to protect itself against attacks from the radical Islamic terrorists of Hamas and similar organizations.
This time around, however, the Obama administration and Secretary of State John Kerry have demanded that Israel agree to cease-fire proposals that Israel knew were not in its best interestsbut, wanting to preserve the historically strong relationship between the two countries, Israel agreed.
Three men died as a direct result, when Palestinian militants broke the cease-fire in less than two hours. Israel has said that they are no longer interested in interference in their internal affairs from Washington or in negotiating with terrorists.
Standing with Israel in this decision is Governor Rick Perry, who wrote recently in Politico why he supports the Jewish state.
Among his reasons, Perry lists Israels willingness to discuss and abide by multiple cease-fires, even though Hamas and other militants violated the peace repeatedly. He also denounces Hamass use of human shields, behind which hide the groups leaders and weapons.
Perhaps most importantly, he cites Hamass desire to take the life of every Israeli within range of its thousands of rockets, military and civilian alike.
Perry has been to Israel, and he understands the conditions therethe families who have lost loved ones to terror attacks, who fear letting their children play outside unprotected, and who are forced to evacuate to shelters when the militants target heavily populated civilian areas with their rockets.
Perry is right to call on the United States to support Israel not only diplomatically, but with military and financial assistance as well. Israel is not only on the winning side of this conflictits on the right side, and America must support its fight for freedom, democracy, and peace in the middle east.
Those who attack Israel who keep in mind that In the quest for a lasting peace, Israel gave back Gaza to the Palestinians. Unfortunately,
Those who ignore History are damned to repeat it George Santayana
Hamas follows a Palestine terrorist tradition. Remember the PLO. Hussein, the king of Jordan opened the door of his country to Palestinian refugees, and in 1970 almost two-thirds of the Jordanian population was Palestinian, and how they show their gratitude, Yasser Arafat, attempted to dethrone King Hussein, to assassinate him in three occasions and to turn his army against him. He lied to the King, betrayed him.
Remember Black September: The Jordanian-PLO Civil War of 1970 exploded. A bloodbath ensued. Up to 15,000 Palestinian militants and civilians were killed, swaths of Palestinian towns and refugee camps, where the PLO had massed weapons, leveled, the PLO leadership decimated, and between 50,000 and 100,000 people were left homeless. King Hussein with his loyal Bedouin soldiers expelled the PLO from Jordan by early 1971.
BFLR Work to do.
would that include the Obama Admin ?
You said it!
SOMEone has to say it, and it seems Americans in political positions are starting to speak one syllable words WE understand and agree with.
Aww, Rick Perry is a Liberal wieney, ask 3/4s of people on this board.
And Obama responds:
“But when you talk about destruction
Don’t you know that you can count me out”
I think Israel should leave the Gazans alone. Leave there, and seal all gates and crossings. Cut off all electricity supplied to them, and cut off water and food supplies. Don’t treat them in Israeli hospitals. Don’t allow them to work in Israel. Just leave them all alone in their squalor. And Israel should give back an equal number of rockets that were sent into Israel, in the same manner. Fair is fair!
I support Rick Perry 100%!
I have always thought that a Perry/Palin was a winning ticket!
yep..... I’ll second that thought
The GOPc will rally around such a ticket. the sanctimonious c might even find it acceptable
I think it would be a wonderful ticket too, but sadly there are too many here who seem to hate Perry. If he were President now we wouldn’t be in in the dire situation we’re now in. Good to see another who likes him.
Come on Perry, you're a lousy BS artist. You have already taken your eyes off our Border,
and now want us to fall into your head fake.. Screw you buddy, Resign and let a real man step up.
So what do we do about those supporting Hamas here in the states? Think they’ll be deported?

Hello, god? Please understand that there are still many, many Americans that revere you and ask for your continued blessings. Could you please start by ridding us of godless socialists? Just give us some rope and we’ll do the rest
I really don’t know how I feel about Perry, but one thing is certain: at least he called out his national guard to protect Texas borders, that’s more than bambaboy has EVER done in the soon to be 8 years of him playing golf.....
He is beyond a B/S artist but his fangirls fall for everything else he says so there ya go. It did throw ‘em a bit tho when Ricarrdo called Hillary Clinton “A great Secretary of State”. The Perrynista toadies have zero comeback for that idiotic statement don’t they?
Well, we were told in 2012 that when La Raza Rick stuck his foot in his mouth (which happened quite often) that he was under the influence of pain medication following back surgery. What's his excuse now?
Not sure what phony B/S jazz he will throw out this time to TRY to explain the stupid idiotic “Hillary was a great Secretary of State” line that he recently came up with but one thing is for sure....the very easily fooled and snowed followers of that One World Globalist proponent, LaRaza Ricarrdo Perrynista, will buy it!
