An independent panel appointed by the Pentagon and Congress said Thursday that President Obama’s strategy for sizing the armed services is too weak for today’s global threats.
The National Defense Panel called on the president to dump a major section of his 2014 Quadrennial Defense Review (QDR) and write a broader strategy that requires the military to fight on multiple fronts at once.
It also said the shrinking U.S. armed forces, which are being downsized to fit that strategy and budget cuts, is a “serious strategic misstep on the part of the United States.” The forces’ numbers spelled out in Mr. Obama’s QDR are “inadequate given the future strategic and operational environment.”
The warning comes as Mr. Obama is under criticism from many Republicans and some Democrats for his standoff policy toward Syria and his limited response to a June offensive by an al Qaeda offshoot that has gobbled up swaths of territory in Iraq....

The George Soros puppet’s fundamental transformation of America is almost complete.
He is the enemy within. An incompetent within is worse than an enemy without.
The biggest threat to this country is our open borders and the hordes of illegal aliens here. And the military is not protecting our borders.
It’s working out just as he planned it.
Congress decides the size and scope of the military.
Obama’s response will be, “it a start” and then he will cut it more.
It’s now the Kenyan’s “fundamentally transformed” military. Swish!
Of course, we’ve known this to be true. I had been wondering when it was going to finally be written about and discussed.
So nice to show another weak link to make our enemies feel even more powerful under this sissy-pants administration.
They determine funding, but ask me when they ever bothered really opposing what the POTUS does with the military.
that’s the whole idea, the fraud will do anything that will help to expedite the fall of America

Didn’t Obama promise a “domestic” force equal in size to the military? And didn’t Homeland Security purchase shocking amounts of ammo?
