In what may be one of the most ridiculous accusations yet against Israel, the UN's top human rights official condemned Israel on Thursday for failing to share the Iron Dome anti-missile system with Hamas, Breitbart reports.
According to the report, human rights commissioner Navi Pillay condemned Israels military actions to stop Hamas rocket attacks against Israeli civilians, telling reporters that Israel was deliberately defying International Law... in a way that may constitute war crimes.
"There is a strong possibility that international law has been violated, in a manner that could amount to war crimes, Breitbart quoted Pillay as saying following a meeting of the UN Human Rights Council on Gaza.
She backed this statement by citing Israels refusal to share its Iron Dome ballistic missile defense shield with the "governing authority" of Gaza.
Pillay criticized the U.S. for helping Iron Dome, adding, "No such protection has been provided to Gazans against the shelling.

On Sept 1 Pillay will be replaced by Prince Zeid al-Hussein of Jordan.
In 2012, Quebec was mentioned in a long speech in which Pillay cited human-rights abuses in countries habitually seen as usual suspects, such as North Korea and Zimbabwe.
B. "No such protection has been provided to Gazans against the shelling. I didn't know that Iron Dome protected against Shells I thought it protected against MISSLES
Sorry but that sort of thing bugs me.
Where’s the part where it says this is satire? I want it to be satire so bad, but knowing the UN I’m sure this is true. :-(
Is this one of yours?
I still cannot figure out why any sane person would say something like that
Be interesting to see if she walks it back, and how.
And we support this BS? Amazing.
not satire and there needs to be a strong response AGAINST the UN over this outrageous conduct , they can’t be allowed to spew just whatever they please .
They need to be made to fear being here , if that’s their stand . No free ride in sweet and cozy USA , rather fear the night and who knocketh .

This is like criticizing Harry Truman for not sharing the A-Bomb with Japan.

Actually, we kinda did.....
Only if it was loaded with deadly explosives first.
I don’t know whether to laugh or to cry. This is stupidity on the scale of a John I-don’t-Kerry or Sheila Lacks-one Lee. There are no words to describe how stupid a statement this is. You are bad because you don’t supply your deadly enemy with weapons? Is this person trying to make a sick joke, or has Alzheimer’s set in?
UN = GOOFY BASTIDS!
That bugs me too. Idiot liberals and their moral equivalence.
Why didn’t the UN share missile storage plans with the Israelis?
His theory, rightly or wrongly, was that if we both had it, it would make ballistic missiles obsolete.
It would seem much easier and cheaper to just stop lobbing missiles in to Israel.
Perhaps but that is not what he was saying to which I vehemently objected. He said on many occasions that he would share the Star Wars technology itself with the Soviets. Truly bad idea. Every time he said it I cringed.
