The IDF believes there is a high likelihood that a soldier was kidnapped this morning in Rafah (Rafiach) at 9:30am.
Hamas terrorists attacked IDF troops this morning during the cease fire, a battle ensued, at it is believed they managed to kidnap a soldier.
They have made numerous attempts, since the war began, to abduct soldiers, and this may have been their goal all along.
The soldiers family has been notified.
You would think the writer would feel stupid saying “battle during ceasefire.”
Another Kerry-approved, UN-approved, attack on Israel
during an alleged Kerry-approved “cease fire”.
“Cease-fire” has become a very malleable term, apparently.
Hamas has adopted the rallying cry of Leonidas and the 300, it would seem, when asked to “Lay down your arms” by the Persians. Leonidas’ response was “Molon labe! (Come and take them!)”
It is only a cease-fire when both sides participate.
Time to go to the big hospital with the Hamas nerve center in its basement and blast away.
One thing is for sure people:
This may have been the 9th or 10th or 11th or 12th ceasefire (it’s in that range but we’ve all lost count now) but it will be the LAST CEASEFIRE in a long time now.
Regardless of whether they get that soldier back quickly now.
Netanyahu is being dragged into this war kicking and screaming whether he likes it or not.
And their’s zilch that Hussein and the UN can do about it either.
If true, this should please the Hamas-loving left.
It ought to be clear to Israel by now that Obama will do nothing about ANY situation except talk. And then go to a fundraiser, followed by golf.
“Netanyahu is being dragged into this war kicking and screaming whether he likes it or not.”
Not following you?
Does anyone have a link to how many Israeli citizens have been wounded or killed since Hamas started their rocket fire that led to the military intervention...US News sources only have Palestinian numbers...I can’t locate a source...geez...talking about one sided news coverage....
Interesting site self-ping
Another Kerry accomplishment. Now Israel can exchange a thousand Hamas terrorist prisoners for one Israeli soldier; and the cycle continues.
I’ve been following live blog on Times of Israel.
IDF death toll prior to the ceasefire stood at 61 (plus 3 Israeli civilians). Not sure if it’s gone up now or the number of IDF wounded.
Meanwhile, the toll of potential Israeli citizen deaths from Hamas rockets continues to rise. The toll recently passed the 100,000 mark and now stands at 104,120.
Had the thousands of Hamas rockets struck the densely populated Israeli targets the death toll would have been 104,120. The Iron dome and poor aim prevented the genocidal scale death toll.
Okay - so 3 civilian deaths - I take it that the Iron Dome has prevented what could have been a high number, plus the erratic nature of launching unguided rockets by Hamas...
I did see that IDF has sustained 61 killed - plus they announced one of the IDF soldiers being kidnapped today...God be with him - and protect that soldier!
Thanks...
The IDF has practically been standing still for the most part for more than a week now. The war could’ve been won by now but the politicians are holding them back.
IDF has warned several times that it’s “dangerous” for an army to stand still rather than advancing.
During Monday which was supposed to be a ceasefire day, 9 of 10 IDF dead were killed on Israeli soil.
And now this today.
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

Everyone please tweet this on twitter as the blame it all on Israel groups are out there in full force
