Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, fresh off a bruising loss in the Hobby Lobby birth control case last month, told Yahoo Global News Anchor Katie Couric in an exclusive interview that she believes the male Supreme Court justices who voted against her have a "blind spot" when it comes to women. "Do you believe that the five male justices truly understood the ramifications of their decision?" Couric asked Ginsburg of the 5-4 Hobby Lobby ruling, which cleared the way for employers to deny insurance coverage of contraceptives to female workers on religious grounds. "I would have to say no," the 81-year-old justice replied. Asked if the five justices revealed a "blind spot" in their decision, Ginsburg said yes. The feisty leader of the court's minority liberal bloc compared the decision of her five male peers to an old Supreme Court ruling that found discriminating against pregnant women was legal.

Sour grapes, eh, you old hag? Now, STFU.
Actually, I hope she keeps speaking her mind... keeps her nice and feisty... makes her feel like she is making a difference... and MOST of all, keeps her alive! (ie, for 2 more years)
All about votes...on a stupid one issue womens' rights.
She really is that stupid.
Ugly on the outside doesn’t bother me.
It’s that fugly on the inside that does.
I wonder what part about 16 out of 20 (I think that was the number of birth control treatments) that Hobby Lobby approved that the poor math challenged liberal didn’t understand.
Hey, Ruth, new concept....you wanna boink?
YOU PAY FOR THE BIRTH CONTROL!!
NOT THE REST OF US.
That title just made me LOL.
Democrats believe that they are slaves on the US feral government plantation, and that their US feral government massah should take care of their every need.
Wait. How come we're not told how old Katie Couric is?
I'm guessing.....eightyyyyyyyy.....seven?
cleared the way for employers to deny insurance coverage of contraceptives to female workers on religious grounds
No, it did not. It did uphold the RFRA and was a denial of coverage for abortifacients, not contraceptives.
What a dirty, back-stabbing thing to say. She basically is saying that five justices voted the way they did because they are prejudiced against women. A Supreme Court justice should adhere to higher standards when speaking about other justices. I don't think I've ever heard a conservative justice accuse a liberal justice of bigotry. Ginsburg is a political hack pretending to be a judge.
Her replacement could be worse...
Ginsburg is simply an evil oold woman who acquiesces to the wanton killing of innocent human life. She and her ilk are destroying American culture.
So if the case before the court is a male issue then the female justices are bias, if a race issue then there is a race bias, if an age issue then there is a age bias. So no one needs to follow a Supreme Court ruling because there always is a bias issue. Thanks Judge for undermining the Court!
Ginsburg was turned down by Felix Frankfurter for a clerkship because, she says, she was a woman. She's spent the rest of her legal career seeking revenge for this slight.
Ya gotta conflate the two in order to uphold the facade that “conservatives hate sex”.
This is primarily the reason that young folks are “liberal” - because they want free sex, and those conservatives want to take it away from them, or so the liberal power seekers promote.
Or we should say, there is always a bias according to liberal criteria.
If a case goes against liberals, then they will say that there is a bias. If these justices had voted the “correct” way per liberals, this issue of male bias or not understanding women’s issues, would not even be discussed.
The self hating Ruth Buzzie needs to STFU. A worthless fascist in a black robe.
What? They didn’t vote her commie line?
Wait till next time. They can’t help themselves.
Oh no. They’ve upgraded from the Plantation to Club Fed. Get whatever you want when you want it... just ring the little bell shaped like a donkey.
