A Republican congressional candidate fled her interview with a major election-forecasting group after being asked why she believed global warming was a hoax and whether President Barack Obama was born in the United States, according to a new report in The Washington Post.
In the Post, David Wasserman, the House editor at the Cook Political Report, detailed his strange encounter with the "frightening" and "fact-averse" Louisiana State Rep. Lenar Whitney.

I’d just say this:
“Well, I wasn’t at the hospital so I have no personal knowledge of where he was born. I do know that he submitted a profile of himself to his publisher back in the ‘90s in which he wrote that he was born in Kenya. Perhaps you should ask Mr. Obama why he did that?”
I don't know. The one people have been linking to appears to be a campaign video where she does, indeed, appear logical and thoughtful. But nobody is questioning her on that one.
I do think she showed bravery and wisdom in walking out, but I also remember that state rep from Nv shutting down that MSNBC homo.

“the guy with the ink wins.”
The guy with the ink always has an advantage. Particularly if they are trying to make someone look bad.
The Cook Political Report may not be MSM but the punk immediately ran to the Washington Post and called her “frightening” and “fact averse”. He would have insulted her and called her names no matter what she said.
Watch her video. Another poster put it up. She is intelligent, articulate and dead right about global warming being a fraud.
His only purpose was to discredit her. He lied when he said she was “fact averse.”
She was right to shut down the interview. He was going to lie about her and insult her no matter what she said.
This is not a debate. This is someone trying to make her look bad asking questions over and over trying to get her to say something he can use against her.
This is someone who ran to the Washington Post after the interview and called her “fact averse” and “frightening”.
Watch her video. She is intelligent and articulate. I am sure she could out debate this little liberal punk. But that is not what was happening. He was not interested in her opinions. He was only interested in insulting her and making her look bad. She was right to shut him down.
What’s scary is that 95 percent of the posters on Yahoo are piling their idiocy on this lady. The brainwashed masses are everywhere to bring their two minutes hate.
“My question would be, why did she consent to the interview in the first place?”
He said he was from Cook Political Reports. There was no way to know it was going to be an ambush interview.
“Whats scary is that 95 percent of the posters on Yahoo are piling their idiocy on this lady. The brainwashed masses are everywhere to bring their two minutes hate.”
I wonder how many of them are paid trolls.
” - - - In the Post, David Wasserman, the House editor at the Cook Political Report, - - - “
Wasserman, - - Wasserman - - ? Why is that name sooooooo familiar?
If the reporter went over the top and provoked her exiting the interview, Cook should fire him. That’s not the reputation the Cook Political Report has established and enjoyed for the past several decades. It’s not worth it to lose its reputation for being pretty objective because of one biased reporter.
“Cook should fire him”
Hopefully, they will.
I hear what you are saying... but her job is to argue with fools. that’s what she does - all the time! :-). If a politician doesn’t want to argue with fools they should find a different job. Again - not picking on her and making a more general point.
......to argue with fools to the extent that she’s representing her constituents.
ah...lemme see Mark Wassserman....no that Suckerburg
Debby....Debby Wasserman.. something or another
Brother-Sister? Cousins? Pure coincidence?
this i have yet to determine
whathever else it may be... it is an interesting co-incidence
Im certain of kne thing neither are related to Gold-Wasser....Barry Goldwasser,,,Goldwater....
It would indeed be more than a “coincidence” if the Head of the Democrat Party is using her own brother as an attack dog for Republican Candidates that are Women.
- - - Maybe not as Democrats do have a multi-year long War on Women.
She has a brother Steve . I see no mention of a David however
Good and fast work! Thanks!
