Talk of impeachment was cooked up by a White House desperate for something to rally Democrats ahead of November’s elections, House Speaker John A. Boehner said Tuesday, flatly ruling out any action on the controversial suggestion.
“We have no plans to impeach the president. We have no future plans,” Mr. Beohner said. “Listen, it’s all a scam started by Democrats at the White House.”

Because of the accursed EXEMPT Congress, the
DNC is getting ALL THE BENEFIT of a pseudoimpeachment,
while the EXEMPT Congress complicitly ok’s the
treason against the American people and Constitution,
and the American People get NOTHING but
more of the same, SSDD, screwed by the EXEMPT.
And quite possibly the last thing ever to hit this country.
Impeaching Obama would be a counterproductive.
He would never be convicted.
The impeachment proceedings would divert attention away from his gross incompetecy and would garner public sympathy.
It is the equivalent of Adam Clayton Powell, Mayor Marion Barry, William Jefferson Clinton, Mayor Ray Nagin - New Orleans , William Jefferson - Democrat Louisiana, Mayor Bill Campbell - Atlanta, OJ Simpson, Jesse Jackson, Charles Rangel, and on and on and on and on - combined.
I hear what you are saying, but the problem with the Nixon analogy is that the media absolutely despised him. The media LOVE Obama and cover for him without hesitation.
Obama, on the other hand, has definitely riled the law abiding citizenry with this latest, most openly blatant disregard for our security and attempting to force illegal immigration to everyone’s home town. Who knows? Maybe it will be strong enough and wide-spread enough to cause a political backlash with enough momentum to stop him and the Dems (and hopefully rinos).
But, that’s probably wishful thinking on my part.

This hits the nail on the head. If he were anything more than a GOPe Permanent Political Classer, he’s have made the above statement verbatim. It at once lays out the truth, would drive Obama nuts, and shows keen insight. I.e.: Obama is even less popular than the average poll shows. [In state polls he’s running about 38% approval.] His only hope is impeachment. The MSM would then go 24/7 with hysterical racist/hate charges against the GOP. Obama would acquiesce in that insidious passive/aggressive MO of his. & of course ALL the country’s problems would suddenly belong to the GOP, b/c they have time to racistly impeach our first president of color but no time to solve the epic crises we face.
As a result, both Obama’s popularity & the Dems’ Nov. chances would rebound, and we would hear nothing but BO victimology for the next 5 or 6 mos.
Win/win for Obama & the Dems, lose/lose for the GOP.

What the hell do we need you for Boehner? Obama is laughing his ass off at you. Boehner, you are a pathetic coward and despicable politician.

I believe every word boner is saying. There are no FUTURE plans, there never will be any FUTURE plans and Obama will never be impeached. The only thing we can count on with boner is we can’t count on him for anything.

For one thing it is no longer 1974. There has been a huge cultural shift in this country. Some of us were around during the Nixon Impeachment efforts and saw it first hand. There is no way to compare the two.
A better question would be, how did the Clinton Impeachment hurt the Democrats?
Democrat impeachment proceedings, like Democrats, are subject to an entirely different set of rules and processes, especially from a political standpoint. I know it’s not fair, but that’s just how it is. On top of that, we suffer under a gutless, directionless GOP.

A better question would be, how did the Clinton Impeachment hurt the Democrats?
Even though Obama richly deserves to be impeached, convicted and removed from office, you are absolutely correct. Politically, this is not the time.
Emotionally, legally, and in every other way, it way past time.
Cut the Executive Branch funding Boner until he faithfully executes the law.

Why don’t the Dems just willingly give up all their money to Dear Leader Obama so he’ll stop fundraising already!
