D.C. Police Chief Orders Full Reciprocity for Open, Concealed Carry State Gun Permits

STUNNING DEVELOPMENT: DC Police Chief Lanier just told force not to arrest a person who can legally carry a gun in DC or any state.

More -- DC police chief using guidance from AG -- grants full reciprocity for all open and concealed carry from others states.

I had a rookie pull me over in VA for a sober check, "I don't drink". He grabbed my
information and went back to the vehicle. After about 2-min he came back and his
face was red, he was PISSED!. Why? Because he ran my plates After he pulled me over and
saw I had a CCW and assumed correctly that I was armed. He read me the riot act for not
informing him I had a permit, And a Gun in the vehicle.

I was not going to correct him, I just said thank you officer. That was
the safest thing to do I thought, when dealing with an out of control Police officer.
One to tell the grandkids.

But yes, VA law forbids legal CCW carriers to inform Officers about CCW and Being armed.

I had a Lieutenant pull me over for speeding and my information was about
2-inches from my gun, so to be safe I informed him of the location of the firearm..
His shocking reply was ""Ok, just don't shoot me with the damn thing"" (Unquote).
I was stuttering speechless and he got a big laugh from it. I said,, No Sir! As in
I will not shoot you.

VA. Beach has some very professional officers.

see an uptick in double holster quick draw pistol rigs.

Imagine 10,000 rifle carrying cowboys standing in front of the WH, in total silence
for an hour.. No movement, no talking. Completely quiet with only the
birds chirping.
