Note that it also says “open”. I’d assume any state that allows open carry would be covered, carrying “open” in DC. It would be entertaining to see an uptick in double holster quick draw pistol rigs.
Those states may issue permits to be carried when in other states with reciprocity even though it is not needed in the home state.
I’ve been saying that about that for quite some time. A provisional court set up on the steps of SCOTUS to try all the traitors in DC trying to kill our system. We need a bill of particulars and I’ll be there if I can get the 10 thousand open carriers to back off the brown shirts. It’s way past time for a whitehut cleaning.

Attempts were made in Washington, DC to assassinate: Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln (in addition to Ford’s Theatre), Harry S. Truman (twice), Ronald W. Reagan, and Bill Clinton (maybe ... and a pathetic attempt in any case).

Possession of Firearms in the District
Today, Police Chief Cathy L. Lanier issued additional guidance to members of the Metropolitan Police Department in light of the Palmer versus DC ruling regarding possession of firearms. Please see attached.
This guidance should be helpful to the community and should answer many questions from the media. As Chief Lanier has stated, these are complicated legal issues and the answers that can be provided are provided here. The legal team from the Office of the Attorney General continues to work on additional clarifications from the ruling and in the meantime has asked that we not comment any further.
