A Lieutenant General was killed?
Hope that’s a misprint.
Also a major and a colonel are dead.
Must have hit a command vehicle or a command meeting.
Bet it’s a Lieutenant Colonel. There aren’t too many 38 year old generals in any army, much less a three star.
Onward IDF! There’s no other way to go.
God bless them and their families. One can only imagine the death toll on the terrorist side as the MSM are only reporting civilians. I’m imagine it must be fairly high due to the hand wringing in the White House and State Department.
In the IDF, ranking officer is in front.
I think I remember that their high ranking guys actually see action.
May peace be upon them and upon all Israel. amen.
Probably due to more covert infiltrations via those damn tunnels.
How much worse would the death toll be if Israel hadn’t taken action now??
Wonder if their rank structure is like the U.S. Army. A SFC is a E-7 and probably takes about 10 years or more to make. These guys seem kind of young (22 years old).
Unless they are withdrawing. Then the ranking officer is at the rear.
Bibi Netanyahu's brother Yonatan was the only casualty in the Entebbe (Uganda) rescue mission. Yonatan couldn't get on the last plane out until he was sure that everyone else got on before him.
If his age was 38 I'm betting it was. Lieutenant colonel maybe, not a lieutenant general
Lieutenants and captains for sure.
Majors and Colonels - hmmm, I have my doubts.
Such a tragedy that even one Israeli life is lost.
Needless loss due to trying to keep civilian casualties to a minimum. Those civilians probably hate them as much as hamas does.
My brother in law’s officer died today..very sad..a good man who taught him well. My brother in law served in the Israeli army and this man was his officer at the time..RIP to these brave men
Not a misprint..that General was my brother in law’s officer when he served in the Israeli army..very sad
A three star general in the US Army would be in his 50’s.
From what I have heard from my BIL, this was the man who died..he was his officer at the time when he served in the Israeli Army
While very dangerous, it's the right way to gitter done.
Hamas lives in constant terror and will soon collapse.
