Im sacrificing my liberty so we can stand up as a country and stand for our liberty, Harrington told a small crowd of people gathered outside of the Jackson County (Ore.) Jail.

Maybe I need to get rid of the birdbath in my backyard...
They declared his property a wetland, so removing rainwater is “endangering” it. It doesn’t matter that the fire department relies on his supply of water as an emergency backup.
Water rights and the laws involving them are complex, but they have existed for centuries for a reason.
In the Founders' day, a farmer who dammed up a creek to prevent his neighbors herds or crops from being watered would be in a heap of legal trouble.
I used to collect the snowmelt to use for watering my carnivorous plant terrarium for my kids many years ago.
Better lock me up.
This is not about environmentalism, but about water rights - specifically about Harrington diverting water from the Big Butte River.
How many thousands of gallons of that snowmelt did you store on the reservoirs you built on your property?
Didn’t they have a bucket brigade protest some years back over silly regs? Do we need a rain barrel one too?
THis is sickening, we have become a nation that is nitpicking itself to death.
So that county has 90 days at wha? 100 dollars a day to waste incarcerating him?
Meanwhile terrorist training camps there and elsewhere get? no attention
Strange world
This story is almost 2 years old. Why is Gateway Pundit posting it now?
I have thought of building a “stealth water reclamation system into my gutters to siphon it into the backyard into a giant tank for use for watering my lawn.
Just the water off my roof mind you.
Is the EPA the New Gestapo
That was the federal government arbitrarily preventing farmers from continuing to enjoy the benefits of local water flow on environmentalist grounds.
This is a private individual stealing 13 million gallons of water from his neighbors, and the state government won't let him get away with it.
This has literally nothing to do with the EPA.
So he should be allowed to commit grand theft with impunity?
13 million gallons of water falls on your roof?
Take it to the supreme court and make them Pay!
13 million gallons of water falls on your roof?
Milliliters maybe...
“Your honors, Justices of the US Supreme Court, my client stole hundreds of thousands of dollars of other people’s property, and now he’s going to jail! We want justice!”
