....and they promise to garnish Democrats and Republicans equally.

Wait....many Democrats don't have wages?

Someone, PLEASE tell me that a revolution is close at hand.

By-the-way, thank Richard Nixon for the EPA.

EPA needs to be eliminated.
It does great harm with almost no compensating value.
It drains the treasury to function and enrich its bureaucratic legions while doing great, unnecessary harm to private sector business and individual citizens.

“The Environmental Protection Agency has quietly claimed that it has the authority to unilaterally garnish the wages of individuals who have been accused of violating its rules.”

The key word here is ‘accused’. Without getting your day in court, seeing an administrative law judge at best, who is employed by the EPA, what could go wrong?

They will accuse you of something then seize your bank accounts and file liens on your property, thereby tying up the funds you need to defend yourself from their most likely bogus charges. As I said, what could go wrong?

Meta-investors have run to energy. Heating fuels might be much higher in the near future (see price trial on propane last winter). The EPA is ruling against wood stoves, masonry heaters, pellet stoves and outdoor boilers (see the second phase of that in five years). State and local regulatory offices are prepared for that and the windfalls they’ll receive from it.

The EPA is also expanding more into regulating against private use of water resources in preparation for global concerns buying water resources. Such concerns/groups have bought-up the water rights of at least one whole country. State and local offices are ready for that, too (already in many local government documents).

It’s a bipartisan effort, pushed by global concerns and the state and local governments that now serve them. Add it all up and see ahead, those of you who want to do so. Or don’t.

"By-the-way, thank Richard Nixon for the EPA."

Yep. The folks pulling his strings also started the push for most favored nation trade status for China. Millions of men who once worked in manufacturing and some in other technical jobs (many in unions back then, many not) have been watching--some for up to 40 years--and can see it all plain as day.

If you're one of those men or their loving ones, have fun. Enjoy the slide. Otherwise, well,...

"Wait....many Democrats don't have wages?"

Yeah. More Democrats than Republicans have wages (see office social politics, alluring odors, peanut butter legs).

Spendthrift ways are ways of government-linked socialists.

About "70 million" people are receiving good incomes but are also steeped in debt and can't borrow more for big ticket items. Meanwhile,...

Where did the real private sector go? Oh...regulations and HOAs outlawed them from building homes and producing in small shops.

But they're still around and very hard for approved, licensed political/regulator folks to completely kill off.

No, no you don’t EPA. You also don’t have the power to make law.

This is the logical end point of a shadow government bureaucracy created by a Congress unwilling to do it’s job.

To: blam; All

I posted another article on the subject, giving blam credit for being the first to post this outrageous illegal overreach by the EPA.

Hey, let’s give the EPA unrestrained power to garnish wages (w/o court order) (Action Required)

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3179338/posts

I gave a link to where to comment in my post 22 on this thread, and just found that they changed that link — I guess they didn’t like our comments.

But I found the new link:

Please keep those comments going — there are 256 now, but let’s get to 1000 before the deadline of Aug 1.
