Glenn Beck said bringing soccer balls, teddy bears, and hot meals to illegal immigrants who have been detained along the U.S.-Mexico border will be the most right thing he has ever done.
On July 19, Beck will travel to McAllen, Texas, because he believes Americans must "open our hearts" to the illegal immigrant children who have been unlawfully entering the country.
"Ive never taken a position more deadly to my career than this and I have never, ever taken a position that is more right than this," Beck claimed, according to The Blaze.
Beck said helping illegal immigrant children, most of whom have fled Central American nations, was more "right" to him than even calling out radical Islam.
Were going to fill some tractor-trailers with food, with water, Beck said. The churches have asked us if we could bring teddy bears and soccer balls, so weve loaded up a whole tractor-trailer of nothing but teddy bears and soccer balls. And then Im going to go serve breakfast and lunch, and Im going to help unload these trucks, hot meals for 3,000. Thats what were doing.
Some illegal immigrants have been found to have contagious diseases and dangerous gang affiliations, but Beck also emphasized that the United States should be accessible to "all those fleeing poverty and violence."

Nope. None of them listened.
This article IS A COMPLETE MISREPRESENTATION OF WHAT BECK SAID.
HE DID NOT ADVOCATE FOR OPEN BORDERS OR THAT THE KIDS STAY PERMANENTLY.
THAT IS A TOTAL LIE.
(PINGING everyone to read Mazda77's post #37 on this thread.)
To all of you who are upset, "canceling your subscriptions to The Blaze", "Never listening again", think Beck is "crazy, drunk, off his meds" exc...and in general saying anything you can to bring him and his organization down:
All Beck did was ask for donations to his charity, to try and help with this problem.
The border patrol is overwhelmed.
What part of "overwhelmed" and "humanitarian crisis" do you not understand?
(Did anyone hear senator Ted Cruz talk about the little boys and girls at the facilities , who were beaten, traumatized, sold into sex slavery, were held for ransom, had their fingers cut off, by the drug cartels who brought them up here?)
If you don't want to help these kids abandoned at our border, and/or you don't like Beck- Fine.
Don't donate.
Nobody is forcing you to do anything. Why run Beck down for trying to do something?
While I don't agree with him on everything-He does a tremendous amount of good. Case in point-This morning Glenn had Sgt. Tamooresi's mom on his show, to draw attention to the fact that he is still being held in Mexico.
He was also the first media to cover the plight of Justina Pelletiere-the girl taken away from her family by Boston Children's Hospital.
Glenn Beck has one of the very few media outlets covering government abuses and conservative causes.
The last thing we need is to lose his voice, and resources, in this fight.
There is something very wrong with this border crisis, but it's not the fault of the kids who are here now. They need help.
Our veterans need help too. We are just going to have to
P.S.-In thinking about this, and talking about it with a friend-I suspect certain members of our government are directly involved in the parents sending their kids up here-They must have had some reassurance that their kids would be ok. How else could they have done such a thing? This would also explain why the feds are trying to keep media and everyone else away from the facilities, won't allow pictures exc...)

Sorry for the double post.
by design

I remember when he discussed Cloward-Piven.
Something happened to him. I don’t think he was ever quite stable, but he’s become an advocate for what he preached against.
He's doing a pretty good job of that himself. Before this, he was attacking Ted Bundy, and before THAT, "standing with GLAAD." If you want association with that, go ahead.
"Why run Beck down for trying to do something? "
Because he is precisely the type of sucker these countries count on. They know bleeding hearts like Beck will nursemaid them in reward for breaching our borders.
"While I don't agree with him on everything-He does a tremendous amount of good. "
This argument used to halfway fly, but not anymore. He's become too much of an emotional flake.
"P.S.-In thinking about this, and talking about it with a friend-I suspect certain members of our government are directly involved in the parents sending their kids up here-They must have had some reassurance that their kids would be ok. "
Gee---do you really think so? /S
Send them all back.
Also, you might want to note that Beck acknowledged the diseases these people have, and in the next breath said "but whomever wants to come here should be able to (paraphrasing)." So I repeat from an earlier post---is he going to walk the walk and take these contagious invaders into his home? If not, why not?
No, he'll sit behind his mike and preach, because it makes him feel better about himself. And if we end up with an epidemic, I'm sure he'll be untouched.
We cancelled our subscription this year to the Beck circus and they keep pestering us to renew when it expires this month. We watch his show once in awhile on Dish TV and lately he has been only giving a short 10 minute plugging his sponsors then leaves the rest of the time to fill in hosts. Something strange is up with Beck now?
I hope they find a home
Beck sucks
Please allow me to repeat myself:
Beck sucks.
Recall that Barry Goldwater was much older, and involved with a woman, before he said the kind of stupid things Glenn Beck is now saying and doing.
Barry could claim age related senility, Glenn? Don’t rule out some serious lingering after-effects of alcohol.
FUGB!
