Two weeks ago I heard a report stating all Emperor Penquins would be dead by the end of the century.
Damn, I hate it when bad news dies on the vine. /s
Mother nature is God's job.
Man is such an arrogant creature.
Does this mean Al Gore will have to give a refund to every person whose money was ripped off from this scam?
Garbage in, garbage out. Lies in, lies out. That’s how computers work.
These same computers can’t even tell me what the weather is going to be like five days from now, yet I’m supposed to believe it can predict the climate 100 years from now? A sucker may be born every minute, but I’m not one of them.
Which leads me to ask, what to you call a climate change computer modeler?
Answer: A liar.
Models confounded? Why are they afraid of inputting the new data into their models and recalculating? Are they afraid that they will get a result that is not consistent with the beliefs of their chosen Church Of The Poisoned Mind?
and I can create a computer model that predicts me winning the Powerball on Wednesday.
Nobody’s supposed to talk about the Southern Hemisphere! Or real Science.
Great jumping butterballs, don't you know that I stand to lose TRILLIONS if my scam is discovered by the mainstream?!?!”

And if every single km3 of that sea ice melted instantaneously, sea levels would not increase a single millimeter.
probably unmentionable on BBC
When someone comes up with a computer model of the earth’s climate that, run with data from, say 1970, gets the subsequent time-evolution of mean global temperature, Arctic sea ice extent and Antarctic sea ice extent correct, without basically putting them in by hand, let me know. I might start caring what computer climate models say at that point. (Or I might not — it’s still an open chaotic dynamical system.)
“Some scientists have suggested the Antarctic ice increase may itself be caused by global warming.”
Of course.
They can’t find an algorithm that will factor in all of the details of all of the millions of microclimates that make up our overall world weather. These microclimates, come, go, change, come back again in cycles and as a whole cannot ever be controlled or significantly affected by puny men.
I'm not a scientist, but I think the answer is the models are wrong.
Anyone have a link to that story of how the big chunk of Antarctic ice that collapsed (calved) did so due to underwater volcanic activity?
And on another front:
Ooops! Data from government agency shows US cooling trend

Not a good day for AGW!
