‘These heretics should burn in Hell.’
I am quite certain that they will.
Solomon said there is nothing new that hasn’t been done before.
In this case, see Ezekiel 8. Been there, done that.
Reverend Debbie Pitney, Reverend Steve Carlson, Reverend Ken Henry, Reverend Ben Dake, Reverend Melanie Oommen, Reverend Gregory Flint, Reverend Danna Drum Hastings, Reverend Dan Bryant, Reverend Zane Wilson, Reverend Jonathan Weldon, Reverend Jan Fairchild, Reverend Bruce Cameron, and Rabbi Yitzhak Husbands-Hankins.
Does anyone have the “denominational” distribution of these so called “ministers of the Gospel”? (OK, I can guess the affiliation of “Rabbi Yitzhak Husbands-Hankins”).
Who else on this list can we, as members of the XPian community, call out for their heresy?
I would be curious to know how many of these signatories have an actual congregation, and how many of them are “ministers without portfolio” i.e. got a divinity degree but can’t get a job, and wound up working in NGOs and other non-ministry situations.
> These heretics should burn in Hell.
They will. Unless they repent.
Meanwhile I will continue to portray “abortion” as prenatal infanticide, a murder.
faith? in what? The Faith Community of Mocloch of Greater Ft. Worth?
God watches and waits!
Satan will welcome these “reverends” into his kingdom.
What is not said is more important than what they did say. Many women who abort do so because they believe they have no other options.
1. They do not say that their respective religious communities are available to help if the woman decided to keep the child. Inherent in the letter is the impression that the only way for the woman to handle a difficult pregnancy is to abort.
2. They do not call on the woman to rely on God for getting through a tough time period. In other areas of life, these same ministers would preach, teach and council that God can and will be there through the tough times in life.
3. Nowhere do the pastors assert the difficulty that all mothers have being responsible parents and the blessings they receive as mom’s. Its as if the only result of having a baby is negative.
The letter basically tells women they are on their own, they have no options but abortion, motherhood is too hard, God never challenges us and finally, God loves you so don’t call us will call you.
We believe, as religious leaders in our faith communities, that the decision to
1. have an abortion
2. rape a child
3. murder
4. commit adultery
5. steal
6. bear false witness
7. covet
etc
will not threaten your relationship with God. We believe that God is a participant in the struggles of human life. We believe that God is compassionate and does not expect any of us to lead perfect lives. We believe the biblical record shows us a God who loves human beings regardless of our strengths, skills and aptitudes, and loves us equally despite our failings, mistakes and choices. God is not angry with you and will not punish you for any choice you have or might make. In fact, we believe that God loves you and will be with you helping you find strength and understanding and comfort for living through days of doubt and distress.
As if an abortion is just a hiccup, a sneeze.
“I just had an abortion”
“God bless you! Would you like a Kleenex?”
Two comments:
1. We are there for you only if you made the decision to abort?
2. Bad moments? What bad moments? Women have bad moments when they abort?
This is absolutely horrible.
If this BS is true, then it would mean Gd doesn’t love the baby. So He doesn’t mind someone killing him. Then Gd wouldn’t mind or hate someone deliberately murdering you, either. Who is this neutral Gd who doesn’t mind murder??
This is the wolf putting on sheep’s clothing for innocent (they know about sex but not much else) young pregnant girls, probably knowing nothing of religion or the Almighty.
Planned Parenthood is co-opting the apparatuses of traditional religion to advance its cause. Hitler did the same exact thing — no exaggeration.
I noticed the first name on the list of ‘religious’ leaders is a United Methodist female ‘reverend’. What’s their motto, open minds, open hearts, open sewers?
Isn’t there something in the Bible about not leading the innocent to sin?
Murdering your own flesh and blood is okay with God?
Not likely, ladies.
