he will not visit detention facilities at the border housing thousands of illegal immigrant children, the White House said today.
Press Secretary John Earnest said the president is 'well aware' of the humanitarian crisis at the border and doesn't need to see it first-hand during his trip to the Lonestar State.
'The president has a very good sense of what's happening at the border,' Earnest said ...'He's getting regular updates from his officials who've traveled to that region. They're focused on solving this problem.'
'And what the president wants is ... regular reports about what they're seeing on the border, and how resources that are being devoted to processing these--those who have appeared at the border, are being used to effectively administrate justice.

Texas Governor Rick Perry invited the president to come visit the border in person during an appearance on Fox and Friends that morning.
'If he doesn’t come to the border, I think it’s a real reflection of his lack of concern of what’s really going on there,' Perry said.
'If the President of the United States is really serious about securing that border, we can show him how to do that,'

'But I haven’t even had a phone call from this president.'
On Wednesday Earnest said Obama still had no plans to visit the border but he 'wouldn’t rule it out until the day of.'
'Our focus at this point is to plan to do something else,' he said.

We were in that area two years ago........lovely old town that had seen better days, but still trying to hold on to its dignity, imo.......beautiful statues of pioneers......

If 0bama will not go down for some face time, and make the detention facilities all about him, this turned out to be a political loser.
0bama will not even tweet out a photo of himself on the phone or reading reports, starring at a monitor
Won’t visit the refugee camps? Probably scared stiff he’ll catch a contagious disease, maybe bring lice and scabies home to the WH fam.
But he could care less if disease and contagion are spread to American communities and infects Americans.
We have to face the fact that this ding-a-ling in the WH is deranged........no president in their right mind would ignore US laws being broken, and allow US borders violated w/ unwashed hordes, and knowingly let into the US contagion, vermin and disease.......all of it to be financed, fed, clothed and housed by US taxpayers.

All of these illegals, holed up at military bases, should be trained as golf caddies, and assigned to all Military bases that have a golf course.
That way, we can sell Golf Cart One, and Barry can get some exercise walking the course, and the disease ridden illegal can carry his clubs

Apparently these children have tons of money. They paid an average of $6000 per child for the armed drug cartel ‘escorts’, and hefty fees for the bus rides from Central America all the way to the border.
Since these children are so deeply involved in the political game, surely they wouldn’t mind contributing to the party that got them there.
