Oh yes - the magical, pixie-dust farting JC Peenney - who directly supports homosexuals and the “gay marriage” agenda... who has promoted homosexuality directly in their advertising... sigh

It is getting harder and harder to find a retailer that I can do business with without offending my own views.

People did that at JCP and many got an earful back from angry managers, who defended their gay advertisements.

I won’t go to Target. I cannot believe any sane person would think a ‘gun free zone’ sign isn’t an aphrodisiac to armed criminals and basically invites them to attack their unarmed customers.

If I was a Target customer and got held up my a gun toting criminal, I would sue for the entire value of Target. And after winning, I would change the logo to a bullet and all employees would wear sidearms.

Target can ask but can’t bar where the law permits. Any other action opens them to a lawsuit.

Not necessarily - some state laws specifically state that a business can post a sign of a certain size and wording and they can legally bar you from entering with a firearm (and can have you arrested for trespass if you do).

I wanted an 30s but couldn’t find one, so went with the Springfield XDs .45. It fits in my right front jeans pocket.
With a De Santis sticky holster it looks like a wallet.
And that reminds me, I finally found a 3/32 punch pin so I need to compare grip panels.
Have you ever seen a commie shopping at Target? Well, have you? Of course you do. They’re everywhere there, polluting their precious bodily fluids with ...

While you’re there, CarmichaelPatriot, the last thing in the world I would suggest that you do is go into their electronics department and set their alarm clocks to all go off at once. Because that would be wrong.
Take care, bear.

Since they had their major data breach, I have avoided them like the plague. They lost a lot of business over that.

The only way that I would even consider buying anything there is if there was absolutely no other alternative (of which there are many), and then I would bring cash. It is likely that they are doing a higher percentage of cash sales now. This new announcement makes their customers ripe for the picking, no thanks I do not like putting myself in the position of a sitting duck.

Just because something is legal does not make it expedient or wise. Had logical folks kept cool heads and simply carried in a manner consistent with reason - this likely would have never been an issue.

True

“Target wants a “safe and inviting” atmosphere for its shoppers and employees (criminals).”

I wonder if the management of Target has thought through the ramifications of this decision.

Target needs to be sent a letter signed by millions of gun owners that states that if said customer is the victim of a shooting in Target that Target will be sued and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for denying said customer their constitutional right to bear arms.

There are enough of these wacko mass shootings nowadays that Target would at least reconsider their position.

Your hit the nail squarely on the head! Everyone suffers from a few dumb***s in TX. The old saying about”crapping in the nest” applies to them.

Target making themselves a target.

They haven't driven enough customers away with their negligent security failure, I guess.

We would expect moderate Muslims to speak out against the extremist ones. The responsible gun owners should take the open carry Texas group to task on their tactics...

Many women and mothers are a rape away from changing their mind on this issue. God forbid it happens, but when you can’t understand plain English, then bad things tend to happen.

One of the things anyone with the capacity for 5th grade reading comprehension can grasp is Warren vs District of Columbia, or Castle Rock v Gonzales.

The bottom line: police apprehend suspects and collect evidence. There is no legal obligation for the police to protect anybody, ever.

What that means to the women and mothers out there is that YOU are the one responsible for protecting your kids, not the state.

As such, when some gun owner blows some guy about to rape you in a stairwell in the Target parking garage in Seattle out of his socks, be sure to ask whether he’ll sign that petition of yours.

Walk in to Target, proceed to the manager, ask where the armed guards are for protecting shoppers, and then leave. I don’t think I have ever seen any armed security at a Target except for cops patrolling the parking lot on a Friday night.

Then leave.
