The United States is again ramping up its military presence in Iraq, sending around 300 additional troops into the country as well as a detachment of helicopters and drone aircraft, the Pentagon said on Monday. 
“These are not ‘boots on the ground,’ however. I have ordered them to wear sneakers.”
It pains me he’s doing this...I am so glad my sons served and served well and will not be going into war there yet again!

This is irresponsible. Simply planting more American military force on the ground without sufficient air support and artillery means our forces are in exactly the same situation as those guys whose dead bodies were dragged through the streets of Mogadishu.
