The United States Census Bureau released data on Thursday showing that the Latino population is no longer the fastest-growing minority group in the country.
Non-Hispanic whites are still by far the largest racial group in the United States with a population of 197.8 million. (All other racial and ethnic groups make up 37 percent of the population, or 118.3 million.) But Asians, not Hispanics, were the fastest-growing group in 2013.
The country's Asian population rose by almost 2.9 percent to 19.4 million, an increase of about 554,000. That increase was fueled by immigration, which accounted for 61 percent of the population increase.
While Asians grew the fastest last year, Hispanics still are the second-largest ethnic group in the United States, making up 17.1 percent of the total population in 2013.

Define “Asians”
Lots of interesting stats...
Maine had the largest share of whites at 94 percent; Alaska had the largest percentage of American Indians and Alaska natives at 19.4 percent; Hawaii the nation’s only majority-Asian state had the largest share of Asians at 56.3 percent and native Hawaiians at 26.1 percent; Mississippi led the nation in blacks at 38.1 percent; and New Mexico led in Hispanics at 47.3 percent.
The median age for non-Hispanic whites was 42.9, while the median age for minorities was 30.5 years. And because this is so...
Census officials estimate that whites will no longer be the majority in the United States in 2043.
Does that mean Hispanics will need to learn Chinese?
I doubt the ILLEGAL Latino invaders have been captured in these figures...
Have they partitioned the group into multiple categories, like white hispanic?
Define Asians -goodnewswins
You beat me to it! In the UK, Asian=Muhammedan
Oriental Asians and Indians - good. Muslim type Asians - BAD
Don’t be those are only official numbers and do not include border hoppers.
Or "Trans" people?
“Census officials estimate that whites will no longer be the majority in the United States in 2043.”
Good to see they’re not peddling the 2050 date anymore; in a few years we’ll get the real date (probably soon after 2020). NJ already has a ton of illegal Hispanics; now we’re dealing with an influx of Indian sub-continent people (I’ve met many who come as college students, working for “an uncle” - they aren’t supposed to be working on student visas). Family-owned delis are closing up; it’s hard to get a good sandwich anymore...
Drop in immigration?
Are they kidding?
with the influx of slavics, who tend to be older immigrants but tend to have very large families once here, I suspect the 2020/2043/2050 deadline may pass and go without much fanfare.
There are pockets around NYC, but not known for large numbers of kids. Growing up here in northern NJ, there were plenty of Poles; they tended to have smaller families than the Irish and Scots.
Uh-huh, who is counting all of the illegals and putting them into groups? Sad to say, I can’t believe any numbers about anything coming from this administration.
Define Asians
(((
Ah, good point. They just may be using the British code word for islamonazis.
I’m confused. Are they saying Asians aren’t white? I already know they go to great lengths not to count Hispanics as white unless they are George Zimmerman.
According to the gooberment you are not white no matter how white you are unless you are descended from Europeans. Not counting the Spaniards of course, who can never be classified as white even if they immigrated directly to the U.S.. Furthermore, you are not white if you are a descendant of a European family that immigrated to a Latin American country, you are then considered a white Hispanic, but not white. This is really all about the politics of divide and control. Our masters keeping us pissed off at each other while they make off with the spoils.
Maybe, but Asians tend to place more importance on education, professionalism, self reliance and patriotism than other immigrants. At least that’s my impression.
