- The U.S. Military Academy expects to welcome a record-high number of women when the incoming class reports next week.
West Point announced Monday that of the 1,200 cadet candidates expected to arrive July 2 for Reception Day, 263 will be women, or 22 percent. Females had made up 16 percent of all West Point cadets this spring.

That’s right. Because meeting PC goals is what our military and West Point are all about. If we can’t fight wars without the appropriate female represenation in the officer corps, then we should not be fighting them.
They’re all hoping to get their MRS degrees.

Where have you been? That goal is so last century. This is a kinder, gentler military we’re going for now.
Absolutely incredible. When did U. S. taxpayers vote to pay for the military education of folks who couldn’t possibly serve in combat? Maybe I missed something—did the Equal Rights Amendment actually pass? If it took no vote to allow them into West Point (and Annapolis and USAFA, etc.), maybe they can be removed without a vote. (And that applies equally to LGBT and any other group that weakens an already weak warrior ethic.)
If West Point REALLY wants to show the world how enlightened it is, they really must demonstrate how many transgendered recruits, cross-dressers, pedophiles, and advocates of sex with barnyard fowl they’re taking in.
Why is this even an issue when it is more important where LeBron is going to play next season?
