Hell go to S/A Murphy and deal with the nazi pigs. Jackboots from hell.
Try parking there sometime...
It’s just a taste of what 0bamacare will do to the rest of America. The ‘Rats always pointed to the VA as a shining example of government run health care. Stay healthy.
A friend’s father was a patient at the VA hospital here in the Twin Cities for several years, up until the time of his passing. He was diabetic, for the most part, with other old age problems, as well.
He just wasn’t getting any better while there, and she decided to evaluate his care, especially his meds. She discovered that of the 15 or 16 meds that they were giving him, only 2 were really necessary.
She got them to discontinue the worthless meds and his quality of life improved 100%.
Don’t tell me that somebody wasn’t profiting off of the over medication of this veteran and surely tens of thousands more.
The best way to get the public’s attention about this is to put up “death counters” of how many soldiers died in Iraq and Afghanistan, vs. how many have died because of VA malfeasance.
Absolutely criminal. I suspect there is going to be some missing email.
I got one for ya:
‘Released’ from V.A. Hospital Alexandria LA 06/20/2014.
Diagnosed with ‘congestive heart failure’ ....
I HAD NONE OF THE TESTS FOR THAT, INCLUDING A HEART ULTRASOUND!!!!!
My BP was an avg. 161/81 in the ward bed - Home health measured it today at 14:39, 100/60!!!!!!
They discharged me, without giving me all the medications prescribed to me. The desk nurse is supposed to go and pick them up from the pharmacy, and go over them with me, before I leave — ‘nevuh happen, GI!’ So what is the remedy? They are going to mail them to me!
They referred me to ‘a kidney specialist “stat”’, while I was in the ward .... the ‘specialist’ is at the Shreveport VAMC, which is under investigation. Did they transport me, while I was an inpatient??? NOOOOO!!! I found out THIS PAST SATURDAY, that I am ‘supposed’ to be there, THIS THURSDAY!! As of this moment, I do not know, whether the V.A. will be transporting me, or not. If not, tough luck to the specialist! Why?
“D’at d’ere city bus don’ git d’at far!”
Also, ON THIS Thursday, they had me scheduled to an appt. in the VAMC Alex Prosthetics, to pick up a blood pressure meter and a scale. HOW COULD I DO THAT, IF I AM TO BE IN SHREVEPORT???
In July, on the same day, they had me in Shreveport, and in Alex, again!
So, there ya go, folks, your tax dollars at work.
My gradeschool buddy’s father had a shoulder problem that was treated at the VA hospital and as a result of an operation, he is now crippled in a wheelchair.
