Should be another intersting night! Hopefully we'll build some more momentum!
Hanna is basically a liberal Democrat
Electing Thad IS electing a Demoncrat.
Must be the watery Okie beer. BTW, Lankford had the backing of the Southern Baptists since he is a big wheel in their group. And there are a lot of Okie Baptists!... which also explains the crappy, watery beer.
Mississippi Senate Results, Politico
McDaniel 179,263 Cochran 185,104 Goodnight all.......
every Southern Baptist congregation is an independent entity, I don’t see how he had the backing of all of them.
Well folks look at the bright side, in New York a liberal coyote, beat out liberal poverty pimp.
Lankford ran the big Baptist youth camp. I’m sure they all know him, or know of him.
T. Cochran (i) 50.90% 189,276
C. McDaniel 49.10% 182,648
6,628
Another 900 to the gap.

The TEA party is NOT dead. Plenty more races to come this year, and this is the time to build foundations for 2016
No he did not.
C. Rangel (i) 48.70% 19,341
A. Espaillat 42.40% 16,829
M. Walrond 7.80% 3,110
Y. Garcia 1.10% 433
88% reporting. Not shown yet, but it can be called for Rangel.
Agreed
I was looking on line for Missisippi recount information and could not find anything.
Yeah, WPIX-a local station-has been showing Chollie’s victory party for the past half hour or so.
Yep. The TEA Party was up against all odds, tonight .... fighting against GOPe....and bought and paid for Dims.
It is VERY hard to knock off an incumbent. Doing this well means you should win when the seat comes open. Here in Virginia, we had the surprise of the year defeating the Majority Leader in a primary. And, last year, we replaced two Delegates with Tea Partiers. What goes unreported is the hard work in the trenches month after month in anticipation of when opportunities arise either to challenge incumbents or in open races.
I think the same thing happened as in California with Donnelly. The undecided vote swung to the safe moderate RINO.
I think I want to move fron a schycho state that would vote for Chickenpooper over anyone including lucifer.
Well, very disappointing night. Cochran wins with rat votes, obviously, despicable but perfectly legal. Some people are being hysterical, calling for third parties and other nonsense (”I’ll phonebank for Travis Childers!!!!!” WTF? Nose, face, spite, put down the knife). I call for the MS legislature to CLOSE the primaries. Having a runoff actually worked against us as McDaniel won the primary but was under 50% thanks to some anonymous nobody also being in the race and getting like 3%, thanks, jerk.
Lankford, no RINO but not as conservative as TW Shannon wins easily in OK without a runoff, also very disappointing.
Other news
Maryland Governor, Lt. Gov Anthony “Deval” Brown (D) will face Larry Hogan Jr. (R), Brown is heavily favored of course.
New York House primaries
NY-1 (D inc Bishop) State Senator Lee Zeldin wins the GOP primary, this is good, he has a good chance to beat Bishop.
NY-21 (Open D seat) Elise Stefanik crushes Matt Doheny, also good. Doheny has the IP ballot line though, I call on him to withdraw and not split the vote
NY-22 RINO inc. Dick Hanna wins narrowly, very bad, but he probably would have won in November anyway as he already had the IP ballot line and there is no democrat running
On the rat side Charlie Rangel seems to have fended off an Hispanic challenger, 2 other anti-Rangel candidates split the vote.
Oklahoma 5, Lankford’s seat, State Sen. Steve Russell and Corporation Commissioner Patrice Douglas advance to a GOP runoff. No idea which is better.
CO Governor, Bob Beauprez (he endorsed Romney therefore he’s pure eeeeeevil, lets all support the rat Governor Hinclepooper, maybe the worst Governor in state history!!!) wins the GOP primary. Hey, I was Scott Gessler who should have been the clear choice for everyone but I’m glad Tancredo didn’t win, he’d have had no chance, Beauprez at least has at least some chance.
2010 failed Senate nominee Ken Buck wins the GOP primary for CD-4, thankfully a safe seat. Congressman Doug Lamborm leads a challenger, former Air Force Maj. Gen. Bentley Rayburn by about 3k votes with 71% reporting, I wasn’t aware of that race.
