I'm living on a small farm now, we have 2 chickens, our rooster met his demise by one of the dogs snatching him around the neck.

Yup, I feed the hummers. I must say they keep me busy filling the little feeders.
The fave hummer comes looking for me and will “bomb dive” me if the feeders are not filled.
The outside bug pests here are May flies. It has been so cold here and reminds cold. I think we are headed for a cold summer.

I remember doing the same thing with dad’s reloading equipment after he passed. I reloaded with him when he was alive but didn’t have the heart to do it when he was gone. It was about 15 years before I finally let it go.
He smoked, and it took him long before he should have gone. He never saw either of my boys. I take care of myself; I want to not only see my grandchildren, I want to be active with them, too.
