DETROIT — The top legislative body of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has taken major steps toward recognizing gay marriage.
The General Assembly voted Thursday in favor of redefining Christian marriage in the church constitution as the union of "two people," not just "a man and a woman." The redefinition will take effect only if most of the 172 regional Presbyteries approve it in voting over the next year.

No it doesn't. Many of the so called mainline protestant denominations (Presbyterian, Lutheran, Methodist) have been apostate for years. They ceased preaching the truth decades ago. I have met many, and they did not show me any evidence of faith, though there might be a truly saved person in them, I would guess 98% of them are unsaved, Hell bound church members You can not lump them all together. The Navigators and Campus Crusade for Christ are still doing well.
Just a note: the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) is NOT the PCUSA.
PCA is, as far as I know, still a conservative BIBLE based denomination.

Realignment has already occurred. It's pretty safe to assume that no one left is worth having.
So, are adultery, lying, stealing, murdering, etc. also “Christian”?

PCUSA should just be done with it and merge with the Universalist Unitarian church. No use having two organizations teaching the same thing.
Maybe so. To redefine marriage is basically to take God out of it. True it’s been abused in the past, but that’s no reason to further abuse it.
