The networks have mostly ignored new stories on the Internal Revenue Service claiming on Friday they lost two years of lost e-mails from IRS official Lois Lerner (and then six others) in the investigation of IRS attempts to inhibit conservative groups in the Obama years. But what about America's leading newspapers? Not Saturday. Not Sunday. Not Monday.
The Watergate hounds at The Washington Post didnt report on Lerners lost e-mails in the paper until Tuesday, on page A-17. Todays paper floods the zone on a Patent Office decision on Redskins including a front-page spread and a gooey top editorial but this is chopped liver. The New York Times also arrived on Tuesday, on page A-15.
A compliant press allows the left to destroy the very Constitution that was meant to protect them.
How ironic.
And these are the same liberals STILL bellyaching over the 18 minutes of erased Nixon tapes.
lol And it’s ... newspapers?? No one reads newspapers. No one watches “news entertainment”. No one pays attention to much of anything.
Wonder if and when they’ll find out her hard drive was “re-cycled”. So I’m thinkin that every email I send resides on the server of whoevers email account I’m using. I guess the irs computers must be point to point huh? You know, like an intercom system. Man are we stupid rubes or what! LOL! Except it’s getting to be NOT funny anymore.
Gee, The Daily Mail had an article about this on June 13.
Guess I’ll just have to read the British press to find out what’s going on in the USA. No wonder the “low information voters” don’t know anything.
They are collaborationists.
The dog catcher better watch his back.
And it took them about 15 seconds to report on “allegations” against Scott Walker that 1)failed to result in even an indictment after 4 years of investigation; and 2)were only brought to light after a conservative group sought to bring the bogus case against Walker to a halt.
Meanwhile, the hard drives are recycled, the Constitution is burned and the MSM breathlessly carries the ball on the latest Bridge Gate.
The American media is complicit in the crimes of the current administration.
Did this have something to do with Facebook going down yesterday? Yes, I think it did.
If I was a Republican in the U.S. House, I’d be getting Boehner or Gowdy or whoever to send a subpoena for all the docs that scoped the work on the email and other communications systems for the IRS. Actually, a FOIA request ought to do it. But, anyway, all the servers, the backup and storage plans (the Fed gov’t doesn’t have the option of just overwriting emails), who did the work, why it went wrong, etc. etc. etc. The woman reporter from CBS (Sheryl ???) had a few good questions, too. But those emails didn’t disappear unless they were deliberately erased.
This story is being deliberately buried by the MSM. They know that Fox and the conservative media don’t have the viewer numbers to create critical mass on any story, so if the MSM bury it, it’s almost as if it never happened. Then, when the story fails to get “legs,” they can say, “See, the public knows this is just partisan politics, they aren’t interested.” This, in turn, validates the MSM’s self-serving confidence in their news judgment and vindicates their failure to cover the story in the first place.
This is the equivalent of Nixon taking all of the Oval Office tapes and destroying them in a bonfire on the White House lawn. No doubt the media would have ignored that if it had happened.
