URGENT: Thad Cochran is trying to steal this election!
This is an urgent call to action.
I wish it wasn't true, but it looks like Senator Thad Cochran supporters are trying to steal this election. The Clarion-Ledger is reporting that a POWERFUL DEMOCRATIC OPERATIVE inside Mississippi has been hired to go into Democratic communities and get those residents to vote for Cochran. We cannot let this blatant effort to steal the election go unanswered!

3. Democrat voters who did not vote in any primary.
One and 3
Anyone who voted in the GOP primary may vote in the runoff.
Anyone that did NOT vote in the primary at all can vote in the runoff.
Anyone that voted in the dem primary can NOT vote in the runoff.
Correct.
Those are the voters that the dems and the GOPe are wooing to get them to stop a Constitutional Republic type candidate from getting elected by voting for the sick old republican incumbent.
The GOPe hates to have anyone upset the $tatus Quo
And does that surprise you? I've been saying all along that the Mississippi GOP old guard will do anything, spend anything, say anything to keep Cochran's wrinkled old ass in that Senate seat. And while I truly hope that McDaniel will be able to pull this off I'm really afraid that the GOPe will figure out a way to win. And if they do, then that will truly split the party, not only in Mississippi but probably nationwide as well.
LOL not at all.
I've been posting about that for years.
Just presenting some facts for those who are somewhat out of the loop.
I'm confused.
This article from the Clarion Ledger says that you CAN vote in the run-off even if you DIDN'T vote in the original election. However, if you did vote in the original election you MUST vote on the same party ballot as the first time.
I think this means that if you did vote orginally on a Democrat ballot, you cannot cross-over and vote in the Republican run-off. But if you are a Democrat who did not vote at all, then you can cross-over and vote for the Republican?

Those that voted in the dem primary can NOT vote in the gop runoff election.
I may have it wrong. If this is the case, then I think its probably less to worry about. Those who didn’t bother to come out in round 1 are unlikely to be swayed into getting off their asses for round 2
The article, however, says that Democrats who did not vote at all CAN vote in the run-off, and they CAN cross-over.
Only Democrats who DID vote and voted Democrat cannot cross-over.

Given that you are in California I would be surprised if you didn’t fully understand make believe. As to me sticking to watching cartoons, we didn’t even have them to watch when I was a boy.
In conclusion, why don’t you stick to being a wise ass and try to do something about your own state.
Q: What are the rules for a party runoff election? Who can vote? Who cannot? The time the polls are open will remain the same?
A: For every election, polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Citizens who were eligible to vote in the June 3 primary election are eligible to vote in the June 24 primary runoff. If an eligible voter did not participate in the June 3 primary election, the voter may vote in either the Democratic or Republican primary runoff. The state of Mississippi does not allow crossover voting. Meaning, if a voter cast a ballot in the Democratic primary, he/she must cast a ballot in the Democratic primary runoff. If a voter cast a ballot in the Republican primary, he/she must cast a ballot in the Republican primary runoff.
Meaning, anyone who voted in the Dem primary, cannot now crossover and vote in the GOP runoff. However, any voter -- D or R -- who did not vote on June 3, can vote in the GOP runoff.
Then I’d say Thad’s strategy is a failing one. He’s appealing to the people who are categorically the least likely to turn out for him.
If this works, conservatives in MS need to go 3rd party in November. The party is irrecoverably broken with these tactics. Reminds me of Alaska in 2010 when they backed the loser of the primary and knocked out a Republican seat. Sick bastards.
It's desperation, to be sure. But when the only shot you have is a long one, you take it.
Easy fix, if the rat wanna be wins thru this crap, vote third party in the general election.
Those who didnt bother to come out in round 1 are unlikely to be swayed into getting off their asses for round 2

True but that’s one source of voters if a campaign can find ways to motivate them.
Cochran giving dems “walkin’ ‘round” money to vote!
