If youre reading this, Congratulations are in order. Heck. If you woke up this morning, feeling awake, alive, and breathing normally, congratulations are in order. You probably made it through another day without buying a copy of Hillary Clintons new book Hard Choices. We can say that with certainty, since the vast, overwhelming, majority of readers, book buyers, and people who are capable of buying things made the same decision.
From the Weekly Standard:
In an email this evening, a veteran publishing source calls the latest Hillary Clinton book, Hard Choices, a memoir of her State Department years, a bomb. The source is referring to the early but underwhelming sales figures.
Between us, they are nervous at S&S [Simon & Schuster], says the source, who gave permission for his email to be published. Sales were well below expectations and the media was a disaster.

Not a problem. Unions will buy thousands of copies, and every library in the U.S. will need five. And then there’s the universities, who’ll need a few hundred per...
Pretty sad, how well Rush Revere does, and Hillary can’t give away her POS... yet! She will, and tout the amazing numbers. This will wind up feeding her ego yet.
Not to mention the dollar stores which will have plenty of them for a buck apiece retail in a few months.
LOL, yep... it’s a “BEST SELLER!!!!!”
Faux News reported the book as .....”best selling”.
But take heart- there is a brand new 24/7 news channel, #208 on Uverse. It is really kind of primitive, but it claims to be conservative. And there are no (or very few) advertisers yet. It is called OAN, for One America News Network. It is different, and somewhat interesting, but still primitive.

LOL!
I like to see s&s lose lots of money out of this. Teach them a lesson on rewarding leftist politicians large sum of money
Why does it matter anyway Hillary?
It was at the checkout stand at Ralph’s this week. Probably because she is appearing out here to sign these tomes on Thurs.
So of course I opened it up and rifled through it. Every single page is pretty much dominated by the same letter, over and over. I.
Luckily I was able to keep the book held open for over 30 seconds before I felt my stomach acids rising nauseously and had to put it back onto the huge untouched pile.
Hillary Clinton is old, and she's also old news. It's been 22 years since she appeared on the nation's political scene, and her appeal to American votes -- even liberal ones -- has obviously waned considerably.
She can't sell books because nobody gives a sh!t what some grandmother from Illinois by way of Arkansas has to say about anything.
The same thing happened to Bill Clinton’s book back in the 1990’s. I had a bookstore back then and would purchase pallets of remainder books from Random House.
The remainder pallets had so many Bill Clinton books on them that we all stopped purchasing them. Random House was forced to shred them as we would not even take them for free.
Face it.... The huge $$$ paid to them is just payoff for political favors for someone. I wonder who!!!
obama can always sign an executive order mandating the purchase of the book.
Hope and change must be hitting the liberals wallets too...can’t even afford a book.
The publisher, owned by CBS, gave Hillary a $14 million “advance,” for this book, knowing full well it wouldn’t sell.
The $14 MM is nothing more than a campaign contribution and should be considered as such.
I don’t read fiction, especially fiction touted as fact.
I understand all that. You watch. When she’s running and on ballots, you’re going to see folks jump in to support her.
She wouldn’t be doing this if her people weren’t confident in it.
By my take, she would have never been able to be a Senator from New York.
The book is nothing more than a prophylactic if she indeed runs for president. Her answer to any hard question about her past will be simply, “I covered all that in my book. It’s time to move forward and focus on the serious issues facing the country.”
